Argh, I'm a little jealous they've seen the play, when I've tried getting 2 tickets you eventually get in after an hour's wait behind 6000 other people to find there are only single seats left, it's frigging ridiculous they don't just open the booking up and stop repeatedly tantalising everyone [/rant] Good for them, though. Gotta love the way Phil holds people in photos, it's so cosy.

I would think Dan meant an actual young child when he said little girl, that girl might be smaller than him, but you'd describe her as a girl, little girl means a kid, but anyway.

Glad to see that comment on his video, it's hard to tell from the video how he felt. I get that he's playing things up, but I think he probably is a bit put out by some of the really daft things so the OTT joking sometimes comes from his real frustrations that he usually keeps quiet about and laughs off.

I forgot to write this at the time and it's only a small thing, but I was amused by his little remark in the video when he told people to subscribe and ding the bell to be notified when he uploads a new video, "don't worry, you won't get too many"

but when we do, they're worth the wait.

A 9 hour theatre experience is quite a commitment. So glad they finally got to see it (together ).

It aired at 9 pm so I think they did miss it, considering they went to a dinner after the play as well.
Hope they weren't exposed to any spoilers, the episode was a wild ride

Seemed like they had a much lovelier night that I did though haha

Finally watched Dan's video and I thought it was hilarious!! From the ways that you guys were talking about it, I thought that Dan posted some flop of a video to his channel. Whatever, DINOF persona never really bothered me anyway. I mostly found it amusing how much Dan knew what was happening in the phandom and recognized everyone's contributions . Soecial mention for the 'learning how to dab' part. Dan is funny and lowkey in live shows, and he's funny and high key in videos. I probably prefer low key funny Dan, but i liked the video.

Well I just saw La La Land and God damn it makes me want to cry that Dan and Phil saw it together.

About the anxiety thing: it makes me SO mad that people assume he doesn't have social anxiety based on him at events and stuff. I have anxiety and in some situations I'm completely fine (depending on the situation I have no problem starting conversation, I'm fine with group work, ect.) In other situations (presenting in class, talking to people I view as better than me, ect.) I have a melt down. It also depends on the day tbh. It's different for everyone.

Sorry for being dumb but how do we know they went to dinner after? They're so cute I literally can't. I wonder if going on more dates was one of their new year goals

Gotta be nice to focus on their personal life after 2 years committed to building their career.

There's also possibility that later he said he was older cause of his young audience. Reality is that many 15 years old have sadly way easier time getting alcohol then they should. When I'm looking back it's kinda scary how many of my friends could get it

Not even counting if you can buy it yourself or not, often all you need is sibling or friend that can legally buy it (and is willing of course, while I never bought anyone underage alcohol I was asked for it and I know people who didn't mind it).
Or maybe those could be separate occasions? Theater kids could also drink from time to time.
And underage people tend to drink in stupid places, there could be popular spot for "drinking" in those woods or something

and oh lord I try so hard not to judge but parts of the phandom can be a tad extra sometimes. And ppl always say dan only remembers the negatives of his past, but tbh so many ppl (not really here) are way worse with the whole #2012wasSOtERRIBLE thing like wow

I always use Deppy as a straight replacement for saying Dan & Phil, so I type "Deppy are ____". But feel free to regard them as a single entity if you like
