YES, yes, yes. My last three posts have been about the same topic but I'm just so happy they're taking a step forward in how they present themselves to their audience (Phil, I'm looking at you rt'ing that ) to the point where they are openly alluding to the idea they could have been filming a fucking porn movie. i just want to point out that they kind of joked about filming porn in the undertale video they filmed on tour in their hotel room. so it's not entirely new humour to them.

Looking forward to the video. I dunno why, and I have nothing to base this on but gut feeling, but I think it'll be a tag video? But not really sure cause I don't think there's been a popular tag recently that fits the bill. Or maybe I just don't watch many YT-ers to know that. :wtf: Or.. could be a skit video recounting an experience they had recently (more IOM stories perhaps... I hope).

I don't really post here terribly often but I lurk daily. And I just wanted to say that I've had a really dreadful couple of weeks, including my fiancé walking out on me (right before Valentines day thank u very much) but reading the discussion here amongst internet strangers that love Dan and Phil as much as I do has really lifted my spirits in a weird way and practically helped me get out of bed in the morning some days. So I want to thank you all for being such a lovely community which I am happy to be on the fringes of.[/offtopic]

Yeah the joke itself has been made before, you're totally right. But it's definitely one of those situations where what's surprising is the audience he's saying it to - 20k in a younow livestream vs 4.6 million on twitter.

Twitter is more public in a sense of him taking it out of the phandom, but undertale vid joke was in a gaming channel vid, not younow. Granted, i would judge it to be less risque than this one

I know exactly what you mean by this, when I first discovered Deppy I was going through an awful time in my life and I'd just rewatch their early gaming videos because it was the only time I got to smile everyday and forget what I had to deal with. I'm so glad something brings you some peace in your day, hang in there and stay with us!

Thank you! (And thank you all you lovely people who have posted or messaged me too) and exactly it's so calming/distracting. On Saturday when the Sims video went up I was feeling so low and it almost felt like they had posted it just for me to have 25 minutes of happiness. I know that's pathetic but whatever gets me through I suppose!

Loving the fact almost 100 people are on IDB right now. The new video makes me think we might get as many as Dans roast video giving the hype for it.

same. i'm so confused, though -- if the sticky thing is an integral part of the video, why did they film it in phil's bedroom? if dan even got wet? how did he get wet in phil's bedroom? does he mean completely soaked or "i spilled some water on my shirt"-wet? and if he filmed for (and not with) phil, why is he the one who's wet and sticky? why am i speculating about all of this when there's literally no way to tell? (i really hope it's snokoplasm though)

I saw a few people on twitter say they think it was a nailvarnish challenge or something similar. Could be as you'd get wet sticky hands(nails). Looking forwards to seeing what it is after Dans tweet hyped it up so much. Maybe it'll be a ribena spon since they are drinking (& showing us) so much of it.
