I agree with most of what you've said, dontpanic, except for the last part. I think liking a picture of a dog at the Women's March means something. He wouldn't have done that if he was against the March or didn't care. The dog was carrying a feminist sign after all. Then there's all the times he subtly dragged Trump. He's not loud about it and he does decide to stay apolitical most of the time but it's not like there's nothing there or that the few times he chose to allude to an opinion don't count. He might not be the most open about some things but I really don't think he's hiding a secret conservative agenda. It's probably just a choice to keep politics away from AmazingPhil because it doesn't match his happy feel-good content.

Nothing to add to this I'm done with the discussion for now and will keep staring at cute Phil instead of doing the things I'm supposed to do

I was just watching that! It's wonderful that deppy helped them out when their manager basically screwed them over.

Thanks for sharing this! This is one of those many moments my heart swells a bit and I remember that I stan the right people.

I remember watching Duncan and Mimei's vlogs from VidCon and wondering why they seemed to be in such a crap situation. Their hotel seemed ages away and it honestly didn't make sense that they had the lowest passes - so I'm glad all of that was explained. The fact that D&P worked behind the scenes to help them out is honestly so heart-warming. Definitely want them to revisit Japan!

If I remember correctly Duncan and Mimei were the only ones of D&P's friends to go see the show in LA (of course all the British YouTubers had already seen the show in London) so maybe they thought the passes would be a nice way to show their gratitude for coming. I still remember Mimei's vlog of the after party as well where the four of them just messed around with a photobooth as the rest of the party seemed quite boring. Someone here noticed that it kinda looked like kids approaching each other to play at a party filled with adults

I laughed so hard at that, first at Dan manically cackling as he made Dab be mean to the nanny (seriously, 25-year-old man convincingly performs role of toddler ) and then Phil gleefully going wild with the raygun until the game kicks in some consequences. Brilliant. Well done, Maxis EA. These two are so naughty sometimes, it's hilarious. Loved that they got a punctuation book from transforming the candles. Of all the boring sensible things.
