Tbh when I saw the title I was like really, burning some pancakes is the biggest thing to happen in this? But it took a great turn!

That was one of my favorite Sims videos so far! Phil was on fire!
I was laughing so hard at his true nature as a troublemaker. I love these parts in their videos so much more than when everything just works out perfectly (like the wedding e.g.).
We got glimpses of this lately in other videos like the Katamaki one and these are always my favorites. Dan, please let Phil roam free and wreck havoc for a bit!

Also the bants and random tangents they go on are top notch!

This easily slides into the #1 spot for my fave Dil video. Phil was so feisty and, while I realize a lot of it is joking, it's very indicative of exactly how Phil gets what Phil wants. (See: stubborn Phil in confession roulette.) I looooved it.

Also his giggle of excitement over transforming everything? Honestly. This whole video is about Phil and I am living for it.

Their mention at the end of how their audience are attached to their apartment was really interesting as well, not particularly groundbreaking or anything as it only confirmed to me that they have considered how their viewers will react when they eventually move (and personally I think that it will be some point this year, but who knows), but it did surprise me that they admitted that that's a concern of theirs so readily. I wonder how they will tell us when the time comes ...

I found that whole mention interesting because the sentence didn't seem to go where it was supposed to:

"I know that our audience is emotionally attached to this apartment, but I feel an urge to transform and set fire........ to the people outside."

Like it was almost meant to end in "...but we need to move because of this fucking noise." Except straight into that sentence Dan definitely realized the massive moving hint he was giving away and veered off-course.

All that said, I agree that it's interesting that that's top of mind for them. I never really thought about them considering their fans in the move, but it makes sense. Maybe some of the moving mentions are an effort to comfort us? Will we get a "Goodbye Apartment" video? Will I be emotional? Yeah. Probably. Also unbelievably excited for them.

They've gotta be aware, right?! Like, has there ever been an example where the phandom is screaming at them to do something, but doesn't really want them to do it? Also. IDK if "reward for their hard work" is my reason. This is where I sit back and polish my phan-goggles while mentioning what always gets brought up... the meaning behind Dan and Phil buying a house together. I think the opening up about themselves/comfort with each other/2017!changes are all a product of them knowing that they're moving and that this is all gonna come to a head at some point this year, so they've gotta approach it in one way or another.

Hi everyone lurker since the gg days here, quick break from lurkdom (sorry its this is already off topic) also sorry for my english

I just wanted to say i completely agree with dizzy and it just hit me how much im going to miss the london flat not only the place but what it represents as dizzy said their personal growth is amazing to see, the guys move to london just with the premise of a show with the BBC they were so young and look at them now! just like the manchester flat is the place we remember as a more domestic/simpler times the grow of their relationship, the london flat will be remembered as the place the boys reach a peak in their career imo obviously i still want the guys to keep growing and continue to be sucessfull, but the memories and achievements attach to this place will makes us AND them all super soppy when they finally announce the moving out. my dudes i can't anticipate the amount of nostalgia watching the xmas ditl and the book/tour announcements and when we all moan there no longer was a sexy kitchen bar and and *sighs* all those sweet mems.
