Hi everyone.

I would like to apologise for the issues you might have experienced while trying to access the forum earlier today. At this early stage we're not completely sure what caused the problem, but we're working on it and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. I posted a short message about it over in About this Forum.

I would also like to reiterate Emma's apology, on behalf of the whole moderation team, for your avatars being removed. In the process of trying to fix the problems we experienced today, all user's avatars were inadvertently removed, with no ability to restore them. Emma posted in About this Forum, and also in this thread, to further apologise for our mistake. This one is on us, and I'm afraid that I can only ask that you reupload your avatar.

We're looking forward to resolving as many of these issues that we can, and ask that you bear with us in the meantime.

On the note of Dan's way of discussing things and self deprecating jokes. He seems to get down on his looks a lot. He keeps calling himself a rat and saying his face is gross and trying to cover up. Do you really think his self esteem is that low? I feel bad like he must have some body dismorphia.

tbh i think that this is just a part of his self-deprecating personality. things like his dailybooth pictures and the faces he deliberately pulls make it seem like he is sort of aware that he is an attractive person

Accessing IDB has been difficult and I've been more confused as ever considering this all happened on April Fools, very elaborate trick guys lmao, having my avatar deleted though, are you sure that was an accident, I think you should have just not said anything at all, everybody would have thought it was part of the joke I love the banner though, imagine if there were actual IDB merchandise.

So I have been ridiculously absent from this forum for the last couple of months, life got awfully intense and busy and I just have not had the time or energy for it.
(I just looked and this is my 8th post this year, wow I suck)

As there's not a lot happening today so far I figured I'd break my idb-block. Loving the spon banner, but honestly a tad disappointed it didn't take me to a page that said APRIL FOOL, I was lowkey expecting a jumpscare situation out of it!

Fingers crossed the boys upload another Crafts vid today, or I'd happily take the TATINOF cake vid instead

Also, how is it almost a year since the Weakest Link video happened, time has seriously flown by time to give that a rewatch I think

If only I could claim it was a joke, but in the haste to try and fix the issue with the forum I ended up getting rid of all the pretty avatars of Deppy. You're so right though, should have just said it was an April Fools joke but I'm too honest

I think the InDepthSpons banner is my favourite so far, wish we could keep it up all year round

I have been checking in on IDB recently but I have been so busy IRL I haven't watched the last two DAPG games videos, Phil's video or the joint liveshow. I have some free time today (YAY) so am about to get myself a coffee, some toast and sit and binge watch all four things back to back so will be back later to express my opinions on all of them, sorry that I'm late to the party but I want to join in.

I saw the photos of them yesterday at the YouTube space, shame I was only one stop away on the tube, should have gone down and tried to meet them tbh thought it might be a bit awkward so decided against it. Maybe it's just me but Phil doesn't look too happy in them either, and the one of him with the girl in the school uniform, he looks like a major third wheel. I always find it a bit weird when people are really obvious that Dan is their favourite and really lean into him (maybe because I just want to lean into Phil so much since he's a great hugger).
Anyways, Deppy binge time, think I'll start with the liveshow first, see you on the flipside motherfluffers.

Oh my life, the end of the video was so unexpected and I LOVED IT. They always find a way to make something different and this was hilarious (also hello Phil with glasses and no shirt on). I wonder if it will really be the last one, I mean how can they top this?

i was cringing before the video but jesus christ, that was funny as hell

love the choppy editing, phil did so well, nice little improv moments. did not expect the paint all over his back, i was not expecting the forehead let alone his entire back and arms seemed much more thought out than the previous ones which was really cool! had no idea what they'd do this year but love the direction they went in with this, glad they didn't say 'protip' or 'don't cry,craft' and kind of edited it all out/weirdly, no doubt that the phandom will pick a word of choice to spam (or maybe not who knows) but this video beat the other two by far for me.

oh my god that was genuinely really good! phil really carried the video i think, this sort of weird, disturbing, unsettling humour comes so naturally to him and he really shines. also that ending of "don't cry-" was really effective, and i definitely wasn't expecting shirtless phil haha. 10/10 tbh! and judging by the description it's the last one they'll do, which i think is a good decision - 3 is the magic number, and it's good to end it on a high i think.

also - no annoying catch phrase (that i can remember, at least!)

Phew, I'm not surprised if that's their wrap-up of the craft trilogy, then. That was a wild ride from start to very out-there finish. So many weird little comments by both of them, right from the seven and Phil in his illuminati tshirt. I had thought Dan was going to carve a pentagram and wondered how easy that would be with the bigger knife. I was not disappointed, yet still surprised, by what he did. Fingerpainting too, a very natural crafty thing to do. Love all the cut-off Protips and glitchy noises. Dan's comment about mother being unhappy with peel on the floor was so Dan based on mentions of parents not liking dirt. Phil really went there too, but happily they were just slightly less creepy for being round the right way with their fringes not backwards. Funny return of Phil's darker creative humour added to Dan's darkest-black-hole soul.

I haven't caught up on the last many pages, work has just pulled its ass out and gone stupid, but I also wasn't in love with Phil's video. It's was interesting and fun, but his previous storytelling sketchy ones were so good, this didn't really hit the spot sadly.

Today's just shows you, go all out no matter how weird and it's likely to be amazing.
