Honestly, I don't think I'll be convinced until they tell us/actually move. I do wish the phandom would be more opened to those with the 'maybe they aren't moving' ideas though. Every time I see people make the same arguments, they're told to be quite and they're wrong because moving is so 100% confirmed when it actually hasn't been confirmed by ether of them literally(as in them saying "we're moving" or actually being in a new place)?? I do understand why one might assume they are moving, like with this example and a few others. It is kinda interesting, I'll admit that. But also, no one is right or wrong yet?? You can argue with the fact it's not 100% true or 100% no true because nobody actually knows until they actually move or no move/just tell us?? I mean a lot of the speculation is based on people noticing things being moved (bedside tables/kitchen now). More signs seem to point to moving than not by this point. Or do you mean actually physically catching them in the act with a moving truck and everything, because I think that's overestimating the stalking level of the phandom. Stalking happens but nobody is staked outside their place 24/7 tracking their every move. They just managed to make it to Australia without any fuss did they not, making it unscathed through multiple airports seems less realistic than moving without being noticed, and yet. They don't even need to be present for the moving process, they could hire people for that and there would be nothing for any fans to see anyway.

I completely agree with you that one shouldn't feel obligated to share the opinion that Dan and Phil are moving just because other people think so but honestly I haven't seen many people being disrespectful on this aspect? Maybe it's because I'm not engaged enough but here I've seen mainly, if not only, respectful discourse regarding this and in other sites like twitter I've honestly seen more people being unsure than being completely sure or even being sure to an extend of making others feel like they can't explain their opinions. The post I tweeted various tweets in response and quotes from people which majoritively tweeted jokes or speculation. But I'm not shutting down your point of view as I agree that no one should think they are completely right about this when it's just speculation.

However I would say that there is really a lot of evidence (in my point of view) pointing towards the move and less disproving it. We got various mentions of needing storage and a final one from Dan saying 'Storage is literally on the agenda'. We have seen that Dan's bedroom as the painting missing and empty bedside tables - which Dan referenced by saying 'You could say I'm relocating it - one could say' (why would he say 'one could say' if not to indicate that the relocation isn't just moving it to a different wall? I'm curious to read other thoughts about this). Phil's bedroom shelves looking more and more empty. The kitchen today looking empty af, not even having essentials like microwave, toaster, etc on view. The constant references to being tired and having loads to do. The early reference to 'life things'. Having something to tell us about the 'crazy week'. Constant references to living in that flat for 5 years (which is actually wrong lol).

About no one hearing about the hipothetical moving: it doesn't surprise me, honestly. They know how to be careful and though hinting at moving not actually provide us any details which would be prejudicial for them, in my opinion.

What I'm saying is that I agree that each of these '''evidences''' could be disproved if we look at it separately. But when I see it together with their history of being so long together and etc, for me it's very compelling that it all indicates to moving. Who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong, maybe I'm right. We can only especulate and have fun

I think no one has put forward any other explanation as convincing as the moving theory.

i'll start by saying that i'm personally of the opinion that they're moving.

as far as what you confusedpanda said about the photos from the tweet, i think that you can see plenty from those photos. before, they had things going all the way across the top of the cabinets. dan's head isn't blocking the top of the cabinets in the screen shot from today's video and you can see that the things that were there before are no longer there. also, all of the stuff in the main view of the kitchen from this video was decorative. the toaster is gone, the paper towel roll is gone. i guess catuses are spring/easter-y but to me it seems more like an attempt to keep the kitchen from looking totally bare.

that, combined with all of the things missing from dan's room in his last liveshow, his tbh cryptic response to where the painting was, and dan talking about wanting to change his video set up points to them moving...to me, at least.

when i think of spring cleaning i think of decluttering and maybe rearranging, not getting rid of all of your things.

and as far as people not seeing them moving, yes they could absolutely have movers. which i assume that they'll do seeing as how they don't really enjoy exerting themselves physically and they can afford it. but also, moving house isn't a drawn out process, generally. most people move all of their things in one day and then spend the next weeks/months unpacking and settling in. so, since they wouldn't have moved yet anyway if they are, it makes sense that no one has seen them moving. but i also don't think anyone will see them moving because i assume that they'll hire a moving company. you wouldn't catch me moving all of my stuff if i lived in a house with that many stairs.

of course it's not confirmed and everyone can have whatever opinion they like but to me personally it seems very obvious that they're moving, as i can't really think of another reason that explains all of it.

I didn't love this baking video as much as previous ones but it was still a damn good video. The baking itself was.. probably their worst yet. Like it was already bad and they started adding that icing pen shit and it I screamed because who the hell does that to meringue.

I'm very intrigued by the missing shit from their kitchen, like they've never moved the toaster (at least I don't think so) and all that stuff for a baking video before so something really gotta be going on there

They seemed to make something with all dry ingredients (they all seemed newly bought and small too?) Except for eggs which they got a four pack of like they were only using it for the video. This could be because they're moving and don't want any new baking/food things. (The eggs could just be because they're traveling though oops hahha)

I have nothing remotely useful to add except Dan Is So Fucking Pretty in that baking video I just can't stop staring at him. I've watched it three times. Like a lot of people have said, it is not even that great as their baking videos go. It clearly wasn't filmed spontaneously at 3am which all their best baking videos were. If they're not moving then where is all their stuff going? I can't come up with another logical explanation. I don't think they're actually trying to hide it either. They're just doing what they always do these days and not-hiding-but-not-saying-anything.
I guess it makes sense in that they don't really care if we figure out they're moving as obviously we're going to find out after they do anyway but if we don't "officially" know then it's easier for them to keep people from finding their new address(es?) at least for a little while.

As someone who loves making meringues, I found that video so distressing to watch. Where did they get the recipe????? Maybe they misunderstood it - you're not meant to add the sugar, etc until the egg is totally beaten.

They definitely beat it too much, which is why their meringues didn't rise. Watching them mix the colour in so vigorously when the mixture would have been just about ok before that point made me cringe.

(And it's only raw egg yolk you shouldn't eat as far as I know - Dan could have licked that bowl to his heart's content)

I have been on vacation in the mountains for the last week, and it has been difficult keeping up. They are certainly keeping me entertained.

Literally my favorite thing about the entire moving conspiracy/saga is the uncanny parallels to D&Ps relationship status "evidence" discussion. It's so fascinating to watch it unfold exactly the same way.

I think I'm in team underwhelming re: the baking vid. Not that it was a bad video or anything (at this point I'm in too deep to find anything they make 'bad' necessarily), it just didn't really grab me the way their other baking videos have. Like others have said though, that may be in part due to desensitisation - with all that's happened lately this video naturally fell a little flat.

It's interesting to me that other people have said this video felt really natural, as it felt the complete opposite to me. A lot of this video felt kind of forced, and their jokes were a bit repetitive. There were so many hyperactive bits that I found a bit cringey, and overall it just seemed kind of formulaic and like there was nothing in particular that set this video apart from other baking vids? That may just be down to personal preference on my part though, I think personally I'd love it if they just calmed down a notch and were a bit more relaxed. Having said that though, Halloween Baking 2016 was arguably one of their most hyperactive vids but it was one of my favourites.

There were still some fun/sweet moments though - Dan looked so pretty in his pastel outfit (Phil would have looked equally as pretty if weren't for that godawful wig smh), Phil's obsession with finding some way to squeeze Dan's face, the bit when Phil spilt the dry ingredients and Dan's reaction seemed very genuine (also that's def something I've done before, once I dropped the bowl of cake mix on the floor upside down so I feel spiritually connected to Phil's clumsiness), etc etc

re: moving speculation - I agree that their kitchen seemed emptier than usual! And yeah, that could have partly been to achieve the ultimate pastel aesthetic but the fact that the tops of the cupboards were bare combined with the fact they seemingly tried their hardest to show us as little as possible of the kitchen makes me suspicious. Having said that, I'm not fully convinced they're moving yet, but it does seem more and more likely.

I haven't actually seen anyone being particularly aggressive about the moving speculation? Not to say there aren't people out there who are being forceful about their views and attacking others who don't agree, but in my circles at least most people seem a) unsure but hopeful or b) fairly adamant they're moving but in a sort of tongue-in-cheek, self-aware way or c) unconvinced until further proof.

I think for me, I liked the 2016 Halloween baking vid better because, at the time, it felt like such a big shift in behaviour for them. The innuendos and hyperactivity seemed more genuine and improvised, like they were truly just going with the flow and barely censoring themselves, so it stood out to me as significant. Whereas this video they just seemed a bit more aware of the camera or something. Maybe that's because this was on AP while the Halloween vid was on dinof? Someone else said this video was more "produced" and I think that's spot on, it seemed a bit more on-brand and formulaic. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and I completely understand why it is that way, I guess it just didn't align with what I'm personally after in their videos the way that the Halloween vid did. It's a subjective thing, I guess.

Having said that, my favourite baking video they've done is actually the 2015 Easter vid, I have no idea why but I think it's my most rewatched.

I think there's a distinction to be made between the two opinions being expressed here - and that the opinions aren't necessarily contradictory. The jokes being made in this video did feel forced, and were repetitive - but the dynamic between deppy themselves continues to feel more and more natural just in how they don't go out of their way to distance themselves from the sexual nature of anything or to temper their own chemistry.

Well I mean that wasn't my original intention to do that, but also if the shoe fits... And i can't argue that the parallels aren't there ether. Two of the many reason the phandom wants (not talking actual moving proof here, just thing many have said about "pros" of moving) them to move is so that ether they can get a dog or they'll just automatically be out by moving into a house together (you're not out to anyone unless you yourself state such, no matter how 'obviously out' someone is). I do know the one thing that makes me the most uncomfortable with the moving theories is the second one i mentioned. It just doesn't sit right with me, assuming moving to a house is them coming out without saying anything? Which doesn't make sense to myself as I do think they're most likely together, but I just can't view moving into a house as coming out? Maybe it's because of my own personal morals on coming out or something...

But also some of these examples of them moving, have been going around for well over a year now. Specially when it comes to "empty bedside tables". There was a video last year (I'm pretty sure it was dan's diss track) where many people started saying they were moving because Phil had nothing on his bedside tables. Every year there's a rumor and 'proof' to them moving, but six months later, no move just more or less of the same. That's probably why I don't really wanna believe it right now.
The phandom as a whole constantly overhypes things. Literally just a few weeks ago, many people were pretty sure that Dan was going to come out in his next video because he called it "gonna have a cheeky title" and that "its not a big deal but it kind of is". But then he went back and decided that wasn't his idea anymore, but probably the video after. But people still didn't realize he said that and when the (dreaded) isg came out, people were mad it wasn't the video he said it was. But Dan cleared it up a week or so prior that it wasn't gonna be the next one. And does anyone else remember the time before the 7sc app came out how Dan made it sound like a very serious video or something and the phandom flipped out then too?? This is why I can't really trust Dan when he said "one could say I'm relocating it." regarding the missing painting. The expectation of moving might be there but then the reality of him just literally relocating to another wall in his room might be there as well.

To me, the more i think about it, the only real proof I can think of is the kitchen situation and Dan talking about him getting a new piano back in January (maybe?).
But even then, the kitchen thing doesn't make any sense ether way?? Where did the coffee maker, toaster, baskets (i still cant tell, as dans head is still where the other basket(s) might be no matter how many times i look at that part) microwave and their cereal go??!? Maybe it's just the way I moved twice in my life but, the kitchen is always the last place I'd pack? You're still going to be at your old house for awhile while you move other parts of the house, why the hell would you move your kitchen appliances first? And also in one part when they're showing one of the doors with the bunny on it, you can see what looks like red and white bowls in the cupboard, which is making me even more confused (i am living up to my username, dear god)? If they are moving most of the dishes should be packed and not still in the cupboard still.
The only thing I can thing of that might make sense is that maybe they're getting the whole flat painted while they're away? Which would explain why the things on the counter are just plain "gone" and why Dan took his painting down. The flat is still the landlords', so if they're moving, then its a good time to paint the place and take some photos maybe? If they're not moving, maybe they asked the landlord to update/fix some parts of the flat while they're away since they've lived there for almost five years now? The flat being painted can fit to both sides of the coin, I guess?

tl dr: I am still conflicted, not convinced that they are moving but also very very lost, them coming home and doing live shows again will hopefully bring some explanation.

About what we were saying regarding the kitchen looking more empty, I took screenshots to be sure and I totally think so. I was already so convinced that they are moving, but this made me be even more sure.

I'm still not personally convinced. Mostly because 1.) it's a different angle as dans head is blocking where those baskets are and the cabinet is closed 2.) maybe they're just moving things around in the house, spring cleaning maybe?? Who really knows yet!
Honestly, I don't think I'll be convinced until they tell us/actually move. I do wish the phandom would be more opened to those with the 'maybe they aren't moving' ideas though. Every time I see people make the same arguments, they're told to be quite and they're wrong because moving is so 100% confirmed when it actually hasn't been confirmed by ether of them literally(as in them saying "we're moving" or actually being in a new place)?? I do understand why one might assume they are moving, like with this example and a few others. It is kinda interesting, I'll admit that. But also, no one is right or wrong yet?? You can argue with the fact it's not 100% true or 100% no true because nobody actually knows until they actually move or no move/just tell us?? It's not a big deal, I know but I'm kinda tired of seeing people having their opinion shut down because of many think something's happening 100% when it's really a 50/50 split for now?
Maybe it's just me but I find it a bit strange no ones mentioned anything about seeing them actually move and all? I mean the phandom is literally everywhere, why hasn't anyone noticed things being moved out, if they indeed have been moving things out?

Literally my favorite thing about the entire moving conspiracy/saga is the uncanny parallels to D&Ps relationship status "evidence" discussion. It's so fascinating to watch it unfold exactly the same way.

Eh, i wouldn't say it's the same. For one, we are yet to have Dan say they are not moving and a bunch of people desperately proclaim "but hiS EYES SAIF YES!"

I'm not a huge fan of any of the the baking videos, but there were some great moments in this one (compilations of which I'll be happily rewatching on fan channels lol), it was cute and so soon after the previous one on AP that I can't complain. Dan's twitter replies for this video were for once relaxed and hilarious.

Answering the rhetoric question: "What did we do to deserve this video?" - pastel merch must be on the way, they probably timed the video to fit its release. Wouldn't be surprised if they announced it this Easter weekend.
Also they look so good on pictures from Sydney&Singapore, when will they let us live
