It's a ghost town around here tonight.

What do people think about Dan's emo tweet earlier - it would have been three am in Sydney. Up late/jetlag, or a Danbot tweet queued up in advance just to make sure their twitters weren't dead in their normal timezone?

Honestly I got nothing - maybe it's related to "that week in march" that he mentioned in his liveshow? Moving troubles? Youtuber demonetisation issues? Dan's channel may be hit harder than Phil's given that he's "non advertiser friendly" lol. I didn't quite realise how bad the demonetisation was until Philip DeFranco said that his advertising revenue is at 30% of what it was 2 weeks ago - holy shit man.

OR #phandivorce once more, Dan and Phil are moving apart, danthony and phimmy reign supreme.

It's definitely "on-brand" so to speak, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was pre-tweeted as a filler tweet. But then again, I'm sure jet lag is affecting them as the difference in timezones is so huge, so he could very well have been up at that time. Could it be to do with the meet-ups today and on Monday maybe? Feeling anxious/insecure about how the convention will go down, given that it's so catered to a young audience and isn't one they've ever been to before? Who knows though, it's vague so could really be about anything. It's definitely relatable though if that's what he was going for, it genuinely resonated with me as I worry about everything perpetually at all times always.

I read it the same way I read this prior tweet:

"i find if you make it your goal to be a constant disappointment you'll suddenly be really content with how the world perceives you"

(probably a queued relatable dinof tweet)

Since we've been gifted with Singapore holiday bliss and sunny Aussie pics, I find it hard to believe that Dan's just over there 'worrying about everything' shortly after drinking cocktails with Phil (unless Phil delayed his tweet).

Does this count as a robotweet? Phil can certainly talk about Buffy reflexively. He's so wrong about Season 4 though; it's the boringest season!

I've never heard of Tessa Violet though? Apparently Phil, Dan, and PJ follow her.

Tessa is a really, really old school musician/youtuber, Phil's known her since at least 2008. She's fantastic, too; she does (or at least, used to do?) a lot of geeky music- like, Harry Potter and Star Trek inspired songs - and generally seems like someone that it makes sense for Phil to get along with.

Judging from this photo and my own experience of being in the building that they are having this event in, from the looks of it they might be doing their meet and greet in a hallway?? Can anyone else confirm or deny this? I'm saying this because in the second picture there is a roll of honor and I remember seeing it in a hallway or similar-ish area. Are these really new clothes for Dan? I've been out of touch with the fandom for only two months and suddenly I'm seeing these new fashion choices! If so, I wonder why he chose this trip to wear the new things?

After catching up these tweets do seem to be more frequent/intense. I've often thought that without the deadlines/process of the book/tours maybe they're both feeling extra ungrounded lately. Just can't tell if Dan's seriously unhappy

I like to buy new clothes for my vacations. I'm guessing that's what Dan did. Wish Phil would have bought some new things too.

I love this! I can vicariously meet them without all the nervous awkwardness I would experience by actually meeting them. I love Dan's little laugh. They must leave meet and greets and head straight to the spa for massages after bending over so much to hug people so much shorter than them. I wonder if they ever get couples massages.
