my favourite thing about the new video is that it's bought back a lot of old users to the forum, never go away again. it's nice to see you all posting again

i love how them moving has been the best worst kept secret, but i am still so excited and happy about it, jeez what does this phandom do to us! I was nostalgic for the old flat but now they've shown it to us with "crack-cam" haha, i'm not that sad they are moving. the ending though with all the boxes, oh my actual heart. i feel like i haven't taken it all in properly, i watched the video then discussed it with friends then came here to read all of your thoughts and now i just want to binge watch the video and analyse it (obviously to try and work out what the colour coded post it notes mean ahem what).

I took that tweet that they had new landlords/estate agents to deal with. If they've bought then surely they wouldn't have to interact with anymore estate agents? Once you've moved in you don't have to deal with them again, but with renting you do (and it's annoying af).

looks like they are moving to an apartment building. i would not be surprised if it was a place with an elevator (no stairs) and a doorman (to ward away stalker fan girls). that even if london has flats with doormen - i've never been to england so id k.

Anyway, I'm especially excited about their new sets, will they film from their bedrooms or maybe they'll get dedicated sets for filming like a lot of youtubers do? Ahhhh I can't wait to see it.

welcome! and same tbh -- if i were them, i'd definitely take a spare room, devide it in half, set up phil's background with the drawer on one wall and dan's background with the black desk on the other, and then decorate my own bedrooms however i want and never show them

Wow. I must say that I fully expected a DITL, not a moving vid! So happy the predictions were right (I mean, from the noise to the gas leak I would get the hell out too).

I actually cheered when I saw the title, and had a smile plastered on my face the whole time. The boxes at the very end made me feel a bit sentimental they approached it well too, not confirming or denying anything about "them" and just telling it like it is: we're moving to a new place together. But I mean.....

I also think they are moving into a condo type of place (they said "the building" a few times, so I doubt it's a separate house all to themselves).

Can't wait for the liveshow next week. Though I expect to just see the corner of a room the entire time, I'm excited for the questions that'll be answered about it all.

I was probably 95% phan before the move was confirmed but now I'd say I was at 99% level...now it would take something pretty extraordinary to convince me that they aren't together.

The thought of a new piano for Dan makes me so so happy. I hope he resumes his lessons...so many lovely Radiohead songs for him to learn (I really want for him to learn Daydreaming, that song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it ).

Maybe it used to be but then Phil's bed turned out to be shit so Dan bought that new bed 2 years or so back and they moved into the other room.

We are all demons and I'm obsessed with this

Out of curiosity I decided to look up some penthouse properties in London (NOT TO FIND DEPPY'S FUTURE ADDRESS - JUST TO LOOK AT AMENITIES) and some of these places are so beautiful. But they are also very expensive. A 3 bedroom penthouse was going for 3 million... so if they want more space, I almost doubt they'll move into a penthouse.

Unless they can afford a multi-million pound home... In which case, more power to them.

Haha I just imagined them getting a small set just for their collab videos-- which probably won't be the case but it would be great for their brand.

Delurking just to give my thoughts on this situation. I've been a casual fan of the both of them since 2011~2012. I never noticed a difference in their behavior as a casual fan. I never have thought that they are together and this move didn't change my opinion. I do get where everybody comes from, but I just never got that vibe from them.
I enjoy their content and look forward to seeing a glimpse of their new place! I'm sorry if my opinion offended anyone, I don't mean to start arguments etc. These are just my thoughts.
I have enjoyed the theories and reading some of your backstories!

They also need time to set up their new place, settle in and make it pretty. This is such a small thing but I really hope they can paint the walls whatever colour they want and customise their new place to their hearts' desire so we can see a truer reflection (if possible) of their tastes and aesthetics

I think when renting the landlords tend to deal with/ pay to fix a lot of problems with the flat (though idk about the gas thing and D&P definitely have the money to afford paying the gas people themselves). If they're buying, I think it means they'll be on their own when it comes to dealing with some real life house stuff and having to contact electric/gas/plumbers/painters/ etc people themselves. But they're big boys now, it'll be fine.

I did such a good job of lowering my expectations today that when I saw the video I was in shock!!! I can't believe we were right (I mean, I can believe it, but it's also kind of crazy to think about).

Anyways, it was a nice vid, they looked soft. I just watched it once, and now am trying to remember if they made it clear or not that they're moving together? I guess they used to royal "we", and so from that we should infer that they're not moving apart? (Just my lower-your-expectations voice speaking). I guess I need to eat and then watch it again.

Have you ever been to New England? America is not a guarantee for air conditioning, unfortunately. I have to keep my bread in the fridge during the summer or else it molds in like 3 days.

Also, I'm standing on a train platform in the rain and just heard that there are delays due to a disabled train so my hour long commute will be even longer than normal and I'm still grinning like an idiot. What a glorious day. What a strange life.

(Hi! Long time lurker here, this is my first post. Hi everyone!!)

I was so convinced that it was going to be a DITL video, and when I got the notification I was like "holy shit!!! the phandom actually predicted it!!"

And then I thought it was going to be a normal update video. Some bants, they saying they are moving out, and that's it... but it was actually so sweet. To me, it felt like the old videos from them (idk why), combined with the closeness that now they are showing. It made me so happy, I still can't process why. Maybe because they seemed happy about moving out and, even when they said the opposite, kind of attached to the apartment but still with hope for the future
