Gotta love Phil's big cheeky grin in that photo and the colours reflecting off the spinner thing. The blue thing on his lap could just be the edge or other of his patchwork blanket. It looks like he's sitting on Dan's grey office chair.

(if i remember right and it was him who said that he watched some nail videos and apparently he meant simply nailogical's ones?) idk what yall think about her but im secretly dreaming about a collab, never gonna happen because phil doesn't even follow her and why would interact with new people voluntarily? also even tho they both are known for obsessing over animals and being adults who make "childish" videos with weird humour, i can't imagine them together in a video. but if i was someone who liked making fanart...[/offtopic]

Didn't Phil say in his live show that he's got a video coming soon? Hopefully that means this week. Not optimistic for a Dan video before Vidcon but he might surprise us!

oh my god okay that was so funny.

i cringed a lot but in a funny way and i really like how phil treated his past self! I sometimes get annoyed when people do actually talk down on their younger selves a lot, because often lots of the viewers are exactly that age too and I feel like it sends a message of "what you're doing right now is something you'll find extremely embarrassing later on", so I very much appreciated that with Phil it seemed like fond teasing of his former self.

I also loved that the #spon was so light on actually promoting the app

he mainly just made his own video, which was fantastic, it was for sure the best tinder promo video i've ever seen (and I've seen a lot ) plus, in the beginning he said that if he had tinder he'd maybe attract many different people now, and I smiled at the gender-neutral wording. and in the end he "swiped right" on many ugly pictures of himself and one of Dan, how precious

Wow, that was a really good video! Reminds me of his diary/chat log reading ones. And the #spon was not over-promoted, which I appreciate.

It's funny; just a few pages I said I'd like to see a few more facets of Phil and suddenly he's cooperating with Tinder. I like it!

Even though it was a #spon, it was both funny and cringey - Phil's old MSN convo videos are popular in my house so it was nice to get something along the same lines. I remember watching Louise's Tinder spon quite recently...somehow I don't think Dan will be doing one

Is this actually worth watching? Because I feel like giving it a hard pass. I have failed at trying not to cringe at the title alone and can't click beyond it. It's actually for Tinder? I think I'm dying. They always do the same spons, wtf will Dan do with it next.. Ugh no can't do it.

I have a real hard time imagining Dan doing this one. Crunchyroll and the Dragon spon games were to fund TATINOF, but since they don't seem to be promoting a tour or book I'm wondering if it was a solo deal.

Is it worth watching? I don't know. It hit too much embarrassment squick levels for me. It's essentially Phil talking about how he catfished a girl when he was (almost definitely) a teenager. He doesn't talk about the actual Tinder at all except to throw out a line at the end saying use it if you're trying to meet people.

It's a lot like the old AIM videos he did, but those aren't ones I enjoyed or ever rewatch either so ehhh.

(Some nice bisexual Phil on the rise though, saying if he'd had tinder as a teenager he'd have flirted with more people not more girls.)

Okay that was genuinely hilarious it was cringey but not in a way that was anything other than funny - and the #spon was well done too. There are few that I've seen that are that well done tbh.

Genuinely one of my favourite Phil videos (if not my favourite because apparently my old favourite has been deleted). Can he please make more videos like this? It's nice to see him being comfortable with this type of content.

Also can we talk about how many kisses he sent - I don't think the sum total of all the kisses I've sent in my life (excluding jokey ones) is as much as he sent in that one email.
