why haven't we, as a human society, moved past "reacting to k-pop" videos

edit: watched the beginning and at least deppy seem to agree (phil: "ohhh k-pop again?? is this our fifth time reacting to k-pop?" dan: "ohhhh myyyy goood")
thank's you were great

I preferred it to the Nicki Minaj one but it was still yawnsome. Some pretty cute interactions (Dan very keen on the BTS skincare regime) and nice to see Nathan but otherwise meh!

Fully agree with the k-pop reacts. There's like 6 of them now right? I watched 2 and got bored. This one I did watch because BTS is my favourite and deppy where there. (Also Saf) Then Dan said Not Today was his favourite song/video. Brb while I breakdown. Also did I say I liked Dan's jumper? I like Dan's jumper.

Also regarding the teeth thing:
Everyone's entitled to their opinions of course, I personally don't see 'crooked' or imperfect teeth as a bad thing at all, it adds character, if everybody was perfect life would be incredibly boring. Everyone is different and that's wonderful. (Also I love Phil's teeth, basically Phil in general because his features are so interesting to me. He's stunning.)

(Of course If you don't like your teeth and want to change them for your own personal reasons that's completely your decision, but not a fan of people telling others to change their appearance/disliking their appearance because they don't look a certain way. I'm not from America, I'm from England, and I the majority of my friends and family do not in anyway have perfectly straight, white teeth. And I don't think twice about it. Not the norm in the city that I live in. I see the general norm outside of this small city though, and people go to great lengths to look perfect. Personally I like imperfections, like I said it gives character and also is incredibly human. Love yo self )

Yep, dull and same k-pop retread we've seen over and over again. Though partial credit for Phil's excellent (and very Phil) t-shirt of a zebra wearing a rainbow sweater.

i was bored, so i still watched it. deppy-related summary: dan loves rap monster and thinks he and phil should coordinate their outfits more. phil likes every single song. dan likes softer songs more but thinks they're the most well-rounded k-pop group he knows. he also wants to steal the members' skin care routine and giggled at phil wondering whether he could ever look that cool.

the video's single highlight:

phil, staring intently at two band members standing next to each other and looking out of a window: "are they peeing then?"
thank's you were great

Can we all go mass-suggest 'Youtubers React to Paint Drying' because that would actually be some fresh and interesting content by comparison, just saying.
Thanks and have a great day! Oil me

Nnnn most kpop stans don't even like these videos, because it's often a collection of dumb and ignorant statements like snobbish opinions on ~real~ music, some general wank over how manufactured kpop is which they think makes them look deep and some casual racism or sexism on the side. FBE is gonna keep doing them though because at the same time they do attract the insane stans who just want to hype up their faves and will spam comments until their fave gets on there (on a completely unrelated note, whose dick do I have to suck to get Seventeen a spot on this shitshow already?) for some free promo. And BTS' fanbase just happens to currently go unrivaled as most intense fandom. I respect their hustle for getting their own damn episode I guess. The fact that BTS have definitely been on the show before doesn't make it any more interesting though..

Eternal shame they didn't have them react to the Produce 101. Like all the people who always complain about how many members your average group has would be found dead in a ditch within 30 seconds at seeing 101 girls or boys dance around a to a lowkey annoying yet catchy song.

The idea is amusing to literally only me but shush.

exactly my thoughts when I saw that it's another k-pop react vid

still loved Deppy's comments, Phil's t-shirt and watched every moment with them thrice. they're so synchronised sometimes, I don't know why I'm still amazed at that at this point

now it just made me miss the liveshows and Dan's waffle about music and stuff even more

not watching
youtubers reacting to kpop for the 5th time must be a new kind of low for the finebros, I wonder how much do deppy get paid to agree to these vids if they're so against repetitive unoriginal content and yet they keep going back every year

Sometimes I'm bored enough to give FBE a view against my better judgement but today is not one of those days.

Oh god, don't give them ideas. They'll do a whole series. Reacting to pink paint drying, reacting to blue paint drying, reacting to chartreuse paint drying...
As long as the right youtubers are in the thumbnail, it'll still get watched.

confession time watching old youtubers react episodes is one of my guilty pleasures, especially the fed ex parcel throwing one for some reason.

i get the idea of fandom exhaustion tbh, i remember being wayyyy more into things like muse and sherlock than i am now. that being said i feel like its a tad bit disingenuous to imply that youre living in drought season again, what with the more consistent flow of content and stuff

[offtopic]im assuming you folks are all musically engaged is anyone else incredibly excited for radioheads oknotok boxed edition thing i feel the need to vent about how beautiful it will be so much rn

also i think my teeth are okay. i could always post pictures for everyone to examine and assess though if that testimony isnt convincing enough. mods orthodontic forum rebrand when?[/offtopic]

Okay not to be annoying but I feel like I have to contribute to the teeth discussion because it REALLY made me upset.
i have crooked teeth myself, mostly on the bottom but I also have a slight overbite. I am American and grew up in Boston and my parents didn't give me braces because I didn't need them for anything more than cosmetic reasons. It makes me so mad seeing people judge others legitimately for crooked teeth as if it's gross? The only thing that grosses me out is unhealthy dirty teeth and even then I don't say anything because it's rude. I feel like the rule "don't point anything out about a persons appearance unless they can fix it in 5 minutes" applies here. Also talking like everyone needs straight perfect teeth is so privileged sounding? My dad makes enough money to support us but his health insurance is actual trash because America sucks. I need two of my wisdom teeth out in an attempt to help my tmj which is giving me daily tension headaches and weekly migraines. My health insurance doesn't cover it and my parents don't have thousands of dollars to spare so I have to live with it. Assuming everyone can afford braces which is way less needed is so ignorant! I'm sorry if this made anyone feel bad but I'm just very heated from this discussion.
....anyways I can't wait for the new Deppy videos!! I'm routing for Dan so hard so I hope his next "Daniel Howell" video wins me over again. (Side note for some reason it gives me so much second hand embarrassment when people started calling Dan Daniel because of the rebrand seriously. I don't even know why it just does!)

no secretagentphan you dont get it, obsessing over having perfectly straight teeth is not privileged, its literally a matter of life and death across the world. if you dont have them then youre basically subhuman

There's a cute discovery at 4:20 that I don't think had been mentioned here.

I find the fact that he did that so endearing!
