Dan saying Lady Layton's voice was a combination of Hermione Granger and Beatrix Potter made me wonder if he ever watched the 90's version of Peter Rabbit as a kid, that was my fave show when I was little and the opening/end credits used to make me cry (did anyone else watch that show? A classic tbh).

I went to bed at 9pm and woke up in the middle of the night (oops) but the new game was a lovely surprise to wake up to! Can't believe I enjoyed a #spon more than a super-collab and a collab with high production value

Markiplier's video felt like such a wasted opportunity. They had access to so many big names at VidCon and... that was the end result? To start with I couldn't even understand what most people were saying bc of the voice distortion and the joke/entire premise that people kept interrupting them didn't make me laugh. I didn't even smile when Deppy came on. I don't watch Markiplier or jacksepticeye so maybe I didn't get it but what was to get? Their dark alter-egos were having a showdown and they kept getting interrupted by other dark alter-egos... okay on paper the idea doesn't sound too bad but it was executed poorly.

I wanted to love Tom's video and his sketches are usually pretty well-done (definitely well-produced) if a bit OTT humour-wise but this missed the mark for me. I don't think I laughed at all (though I did kind of smile at how Tom picked a character that was Very Dan™). I acknowledge there was a lot of stress surrounding this sketch though so I feel bad.

Phil's clumsiness in Mark's bloopers and Dan's dimply smiles in Tom's bloopers were v soft though

I loved the Layton video! I'd never heard of it. Shame it costs that much otherwise I'd have probably downloaded it straight away. I do think it was very wordy which made me zone out at times but the puzzles, detective theme, animation and characters (and outfits, "omg slay me") were all really fun to me. Deppy seemed to be having fun and they seemed soooo flirty, not to mention looking ultra fine in dark colours.

Soooooo much content today! It's a pity 2/3 (or 4/5 if you include the bloopers) didn't do it for me at all.

twix I appreciate the compiled list of all the theories going on about that week in March, I didn't realise there were so many! But now that we're drawing nearer to August I think the reveal will be anticlimactic and it'll turn out he just had a lot going on at once, including the move (because they released the Moving Out video the month after).

I think it's funny how Dan's bit was on green screen but the background ended up being his old room. Two things: I don't know whether the background was Dan's idea or Mark's, but I like to think there was really no reason for Dan to shoot at Vidcon when he could have done it at home, but he just wanted to be with Phil while he shot his (and I like to think he was too possessive to let Phil go alone).

Also it's so cute how you can hear deppy watching each other in the background of the bloopers. But I probably have my rose coloured glasses on too tight.

I find it interesting as well that they chose to use Dan's 2013 background, but he probably just had a convenient photo of it or something.

I as well am an avid Layton fan, but agree that it's a type of game to be enjoyed alone. However, I think they did a good job and had lots of cute bants I mean, it's hard to surpass the Crash Bandicoot vids

I noticed on Instagram today that a ton of people were reposting things from Tumblr about DnP sharing a room & the theories about them moving again. What bothers me is that Instagram is such a public forum and to post things like that is (in my opinion) very disrespectful. Those posts will show up in the explorer feed and the general public will see it, people that aren't fans or followers, people that wouldn't otherwise even consider things like that and also there is that possibility that Dan or Phil could see those posts (I know Dan and Phil could be on here too but if they were on here, then they should kinda expect the theories). It's one thing to be on here and places simliar because if you are on pages like this, you are aware of the Phandom and posts/theories/speculations are more "private" on here because the general public probabaly isn't going to come to these types of sites unless they are looking for "information" and/or opinions. I think these types of posts should remain in forums less publicly known, not that no one knows about IDB but if people know it's because they share similar thoughts and interests.

All of our posts/theories/speculations are in good fun and in no way, shape or form are they meant to hurt the guys and the same goes for our opinions, we aren't here to hurt each other or them but when on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, I think there are topics that just shouldn't be mentioned where everyone in the world could see and make nasty comments or @ the guys in posts. With Tumblr, you more than likely follow fan pages and it's more of a place to share thoughts like what we do here than the other 3.

hello i have been very busy over the course of like 5 days and had to catch up on so many pages it took me like an hour ughjfnkds. first things first (*dans disstrack plays omg*)

layton video: good video! i have literally never played a layton game in my life and i'm not too big on puzzle games but i still watched it nonetheless bc, yknow. dan and phil. they make anything entertaining. i enjoyed it.

dan's liveshow: v good, he seemed in a v good mood that day and his long ramble on the emo culture was fascinating. i was..sort of an emo myself, i really really liked a bunch of "emo" bands like black veil brides, falling in reverse, botdf, etc, etc. he gave me sort of a new outlook on the emo stuff and i'm glad for that. i still..regret my emo phase tho.

tomska collab: i loved it personally. i laughed at a lot of it and dan's parts were funny as heck lol. bloopers were good too.

markiplier super collab: very, very disappointed to see everyone disliking it. it's probably because i'm such an avid fan of jack now and i'm super into the fandom and the anti theories but.. i personally really, really enjoyed it! i've watched it 3 times now. it wasn't too hard for me to understand personally but that's just me. also, there's also the fact that dark and anti are literally dark personas that were created by the community of mark and jack. they just chose to develop on it more and bring it to life and.. let the community develop a whole bunch of theories and whatnot, stuff like that. i'm probably taking this all way to heart bc i am such a huge fan of jack now and have been watching his videos avidly for 2 months, will be 3 in late august. i watch almost every single one of his videos he uploads whether it's 15 minutes or over an hour. just..disappointed so many people disliked it. oh well. i guess we all have our own personal taste. i'll shut up now sorry i'm just a huge fan of jack. (and dan and phil ofc, their parts were funny in the video)

The people on other sites are allowed to speculate too. I mean, Dan and Phil have put this stuff out there themselves and it's not some secret thing that needs context like the vday video. They aren't invading their privacy, they aren't sharing anything that Dan and Phil haven't shared with the public. And who cares if the general public sees? If they don't know who Dan and Phil are/don't watch them, why would they care and how would that hurt anyone? They're fans just like we are, why can't they theorize? Tom's video: I can understand why lots of fans didn't like it. It felt very bland. I mean I did laugh the first time I watched it, but not really on the second watch. The bloopers were good though! I think it honestly had a lot to do with the fact the script was on its 8th draft and at how satirical/crude the pickup lines were. Also, I too find it weird that no where does it say this was a paid ad from tinder but that it was produced by Marianne and Fleur of flipside. I really can't wait to watch last week on Monday to find out what the hell happened with it almost not being released on Friday.

Mark's video: I had a hard time watching it, mostly because I couldn't understand what the fuck was going on. This feels like something way more for fans of Sean and Mark who one, are into the whole dark/anti them and two the ones who may constantly spam them to colab with a lot of the bigger youtubers. Perhaps that's why I didn't understand it?

that week in March stuff: as August grows near, the anticipation of what this could be grows. While I still do stick with my own theory on it, as you all have pointed out, it could be nothing too. Also who's to say they aren't going on another vacation around the time of sitc with wirrow and bryony? Didn't they used to go on vacation with them yearly? August shall be interesting! Still loving all these theories as to what could be going on!

This is a bit off topic but, we've talked a lot about how much they've relaxed on the gaming channel and I completely agree on it, but it's still so jarring to see the change from as early as 2015 to now. Im not good at wording that but what I mean is, the change happened so slow but also so quick that I just accepted it and didn't really think much in-depth myself, till now. I'm not one to go back and watch old gaming videos from 2015 since a lot of them I didn't like (How the hell did we only live on one to two gaming videos a month and it mostly being dil), but tonight I did with (for some reason) one of the awful dragon city spon videos. It was so weird because they purposely made sure to have a space between them. When one of them moved closer to the other, the other would scoot away from them. Phil also didn't seem to know where to put his hands when they weren't on the tablet. It's so weird to see and quite frankly, felt unnatural.

that's when the whole relaxed on camera a lot more hits me hard. And of course it's not just the whole physically closeness thing ether, it's the attitude towards eachother that's visibly changed too. Watching the first mario kart 8 gameplay compared to mario kart 8 deluxe gameplay is where you can see it a lot too. It, for sure, feels so much more like two people who are extremely comfortable and care deeply about eachother rather then two people who make things feel somewhat awkward and at times rather tense. this is my most extra demon like post oh my god I'm so sorry. Not that the caring wasn't there before, btw, it was but it just wasn't as apparent as it is now to me.

I'm not really sure what the purpose of me making this huge paragraph is, but basically going back and just visually comparing not even two years ago to now is so so jarring? In a great way? Also as a final note, I'd like to point out that I'll never forget when the phandom would actually make photo manips with photos of deppy that would look almost like the screenshot from their last video. Oh how the times have changed for the better for everyone. Love how all this is normal stuff now and the phandom doesn't freak out as much anymore over them just brushing shoulder. Dan and Phil did well with the easing us all into better waters. Good god this is a mess of a ramble... I'm just gonna go back to lurking now.

I get what you are saying and I don't think you sounded rude - I don't get my feelings hurt if someone has differing opinions.

I'm not saying people aren't allowed to speculate on other sites, I'm saying there were things that I read today that weren't very nice and no matter what content Dan and Phil are putting out there for the world to see, there are some things that shouldn't be said, no matter what. Everyone is allowed to say and post whatever they want but whether the people they are talking about are famous or not, there are ways to say things that aren't degrading, disrespectful or down right nasty. Some people need to be a little bit more tactful, a lot more tasteful and completely respectful - I understand that their entire career is on public display and if they act a certain way, touch a certain way, talk a certain way, look at each other a certain way, people are gonna do what people do and analyze everything. DnP put themselves out there knowing this will happen (to a certain extent) and I get that but I just feel that it's disrespectful to spam them with all their theories on every form of social media the guys have. Spamming videos, spamming everyone they collab with, spamming other peoples twitters, spamming pics with comments and spamming the chat during live shows - it's too much and I think it crosses the line sometimes. I'm not saying that every single comment is about them as a couple or about them sharing a room or whatever but a lot of them are (depending on what video is put out that day).

I enjoy speculating and reading everyones theories, I just personally wouldn't post certain topics on peoples social media that would bother me if I was in their shoes, even if I eluded to something, that doesn't mean that gives someone free rein to say things that may be hurtful or disrespectful.

They are in the public eye and their privacy is given up to a certain extent just like musicians & actors but when neither Dan nor Phil have confirmed that they are sharing a room/bed or that they are together or not, those comments shouldn't be made where the guys are @ in the comment. It's one thing to say things on social media about someone and have a conversation about them but to @ them (in hopes that they'll see it?) just shouldn't be done.

I was thinking about this subject lately too, mainly since the whole room sharing blow-up after Dan's last live show. I think it was a YT comment that said something along the lines of "maybe we should start thinking about the possibility that we're actually right with these theories and what that means" and got me thinking. As in, if the room-sharing theory/Phan in general is real, then people would basically be speculating about/spending hours dissecting something that the people in question appear to want to keep private. And for awhile I was starting to feel pretty bad.

But then, like you mentioned in your post, the whole "D&P are choosing to share these things" aspect. Take Dan's ls for example. People have already discussed how he could have done it in literally any other room. Not only that, he absolutely didn't need to pan the camera around the room multiple times. Or not move that mirror away, etc. I mean, Dan is by no means unaware of how obsessive some of his watchers are. Of course, I can't say if he (/they?) does things like that as actual ~Phan hints~, to mess with people like us because he finds it funny, or if he's just fed up with the scrutiny and figures to let people analyze if they want to analyze. But either way, I don't believe that they are complete slip-ups. Of course, personally I'd like to believe the whole "subtly normalizing things so when they actually come out the fandom won't lose their minds" theory, but I'm pretty biased lol.

Like, sometimes something about the more hardcore, in-depth "Phan proof" stuff does make me a bit uncomfortable. I'm talking stuff about Formspring, v-day analyses, etc. Which is 100% hypocrisy since I read through it all before, but hey. But I don't really get the same vibe from modern theorizing/speculations as that, idk. (Though I should add to their credit, you at least have to do a tiny bit of digging to find that stuff, at least from my experience.)

But I also completely see the point about it being on a platform as huge on Instagram. On that front my feelings are more mixed. I guess my thoughts on "they chose to share this stuff" still stands. Like if people had worked out their apartment location from the stuff that we've seen are were spamming their address around, then it'd be different. I guess there's a line in my head of what's too invasive and what's not, but I'm not entirely sure of what that line is myself haha.

Most of all I just hope that they'd feel comfortable saying back off or something of the sorts if things ever did get too much for them. And I completely agree with the points on disrespect/tact. Sometimes I feel like some people forget that they aren't A-list celebrities way out of the reach of us common folk. Like, they actually see the stuff that people say about them. Not that that's any excuse to be nasty to big celebrities or that they don't read what people talk about them either, but hopefully my point makes sense.

The trouble is the phandom is huge and seems to have done this for years so I don't know how it could actually be stopped. Nothing personal should be discussed in front of them/in their tags/in comments on their photos, though with the hints lately maybe that line is blurrier (I don't think it is tbh). Most of the platforms the phandom has are places Deps use too and some people relentlessly tag them in phan stuff no matter how much others don't or say not to, and a lot of the kids seem too into it all to stop and think of how it's seen from outside. Whether other people who see it give it much weight related to Deps, I don't know, sadly it probably just perpetuates the phandom as a bunch of deluded wild kids.

Markiplier: I agree that the audio was hard to understand, and I wasn't invested enough to figure it out, so I skipped the Jack/Mark parts. I actually liked Dan's part in the vid, it felt like the depressing danisnotonfire persona found its time to shine. The dramatic stare off to the side and the little shrug as he accepted death was funny. Especially when contrasted with everyone elses' overblown death scenes. I felt like I'd seen Phil's tea and crumpet schtick a dozen times before, but it's harmless. Like everyone I enjoyed the bloopers more- Dan saying 'Please tell me you were recording' when Phil took out the light was cute, and he broke out the hyena laugh. I'll forever love that Phil doesn't play up the clumsy at all, he genuinely is a hazard. I remember a video a fan took during Tatinof, where he was waving and then tripped.

Tomska: I've seen a lot of Tom vids and I tend to like them, but imo Rejects is abnormally good, so this one wasn't really likely to match it. I liked Dan's role- I agree it was more fleshed out than Tom's sidekicks normally are. And I'm Team long checkered shirt.

Gaming vid: Pleasant, they were so slow with that K it made me question everything. I was counting on Phil 'think outside the box' Lester to get there right away. "Daddy's girl" was a highlight

My personal opinion: I would like to point out that these speculations are a big part of Dan and Phil's success, and they know it (Dan even acknowledged it in his diss track). Therefore, I see no problem with people speculating about their relationship based on the content they put out themselves, they put in cute moments that we can discuss for a reason. I'm really happy that they feel comfortable enough to act naturally around each other and that they stopped screaming "WE AREN'T A COUPLE" every 5 minutes, but they definitely expect people to talk about it. The thing with the bedroom also feels very intentional.
What isn't ok on any level is discussing possible "phan proof" that was put into the world outside of their control: the v-day video, creep shots, other people's vlogs and so on. That kind of stuff should be kept out of their main tags, and preferebly shouldn't exist (which is very hypocritical of me, because I have spent hours thinking about certain aspects of their relationship based on all if that).

So to sum up: the speculation is a big part of their income, they intentionally give us what to discuss. I also don't see that as a bad thing or queerbating - we all love their dynamic and that's what attracts most of us to the phandom.

My personal opinion: I would like to point out that these speculations are a big part of Dan and Phil's success, and they know it (Dan even acknowledged it in his diss track). Therefore, I see no problem with people speculating about their relationship based on the content they put out themselves, they put in cute moments that we can discuss for a reason. I'm really happy that they feel comfortable enough to act naturally around each other and that they stopped screaming "WE AREN'T A COUPLE" every 5 minutes, but they definitely expect people to talk about it. The thing with the bedroom also feels very intentional.
What isn't ok on any level is discussing possible "phan proof" that was put into the world outside of their control: the v-day video, creep shots, other people's vlogs and so on. That kind of stuff should be kept out of their main tags, and preferebly shouldn't exist (which is very hypocritical of me, because I have spent hours thinking about certain aspects of their relationship based on all if that).

So to sum up: the speculation is a big part of their income, they intentionally give us what to discuss. I also don't see that as a bad thing or queerbating - we all love their dynamic and that's what attracts most of us to the phandom.

Spamming videos, spamming everyone they collab with, spamming other peoples twitters, spamming pics with comments and spamming the chat during live shows - it's too much and I think it crosses the line sometimes. I'm not saying that every single comment is about them as a couple or about them sharing a room or whatever but a lot of them are (depending on what video is put out that day).

I enjoy speculating and reading everyones theories, I just personally wouldn't post certain topics on peoples social media that would bother me if I was in their shoes, even if I eluded to something, that doesn't mean that gives someone free rein to say things that may be hurtful or disrespectful.

They are in the public eye and their privacy is given up to a certain extent just like musicians & actors but when neither Dan nor Phil have confirmed that they are sharing a room/bed or that they are together or not, those comments shouldn't be made where the guys are @ in the comment. It's one thing to say things on social media about someone and have a conversation about them but to @ them (in hopes that they'll see it?) just shouldn't be done.***

I noticed on Instagram today that a ton of people were reposting things from Tumblr about DnP sharing a room & the theories about them moving again. What bothers me is that Instagram is such a public forum and to post things like that is (in my opinion) very disrespectful. Those posts will show up in the explorer feed and the general public will see it, people that aren't fans or followers, people that wouldn't otherwise even consider things like that and also there is that possibility that Dan or Phil could see those posts (I know Dan and Phil could be on here too but if they were on here, then they should kinda expect the theories). It's one thing to be on here and places simliar because if you are on pages like this, you are aware of the Phandom and posts/theories/speculations are more "private" on here because the general public probabaly isn't going to come to these types of sites unless they are looking for "information" and/or opinions. I think these types of posts should remain in forums less publicly known, not that no one knows about IDB but if people know it's because they share similar thoughts and interests.

All of our posts/theories/speculations are in good fun and in no way, shape or form are they meant to hurt the guys and the same goes for our opinions, we aren't here to hurt each other or them but when on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, I think there are topics that just shouldn't be mentioned where everyone in the world could see and make nasty comments or @ the guys in posts. I may have misunderstood you the first time, I'm really sorry. From your first post I didn't understand that you meant not just fan speculation, but basically saying derogatory things about them on social media - I don't think that's acceptable in any scenario, no matter what content they put forward. I also do agree that tagging them in comments that are sexual and suggestive, or downright crude isn't right (I think that's true for any person, famous or not), as is spamming other people's videos. However, pointing out in comments that they share a bedroom based on their own videos, I don't see how that's insulting them? I mean, it might annoy them, but the whole "I commented first" and follow everyone that liked this" stuff is just as annoying in my opinion.

I don't think that mentality is applied only to "creepy fetish porn" but to many other forms of fanart and fanfiction. I would dare say that authors of G-rated fluffy fanfics would also rather not have DnP actually read (or at least accidentally stumble across them) and usually avoid tagging them. If we all accept what you are saying, then almost nothing of fanart and fanfiction should exist.

Marks video: To those confused about the concept, a little overview explaining Darkiplier and Antisepticeye.

It's basically 'Darkiplier' and 'Antisepticeye' trying to fight with each other, which is probably what's going to cause the death of many fans of theirs (including me, i am writing this from the grave) last year, Jack made a video on Halloween where he carved pumpkins and 'Anti' took over, it was a very cool video which nobody was expecting and was edited and executed very well. The 'Anti' character was made from the fandom which he then took on and decided to make real because he thought it was a cool idea. Mark followed this idea too, after Jack, and basically ever since people in both fandoms wanted to see their dark personas in a video together. (And also, because they are shipped together, both Mark and Jack and Dark and Anti.)

I thought the video was funny, but I'm used to Marks humour, and you can tell this was an idea that was pretty dumb but still pretty good. I found the editing a little weird though, I think it could of been a lot more polished, but I really enjoyed the concept. Anti is my favourite. Dan and Phil's parts were alright, I much preferred Dans to Phils if I'm honest, he made me laugh whereas with Phil I kind of just rolled my eyes a bit. Not sure if that was Marks idea or Phils, but there we are. Bloopers were funny, trust Phil to break shit

Tomska sketch: Was okay, didn't make me laugh as much as Rejects did, Dans parts made me laugh more than Toms. Also I am him at parties.

DAPG vid: Was super cute, made me think of my childhood as I used to play Pandoras Box when I was younger. Forgot who said this, but about the fact it was an ad, I felt like they weren't very into it either. They always seem a slight bit awkward, like they have to watch what they say and how they act? I don't know how spons/ads work, do you get given a script or like guidelines to follow? They always seem to be a little off for me. Saying they share a bed or a room isn't bad but they were very sexually vulgar. I actually went as far as reporting the 2 accounts that were conversing - I'm not one to get bothered or easily offended really - I actually have a very open mind & sometimes sexual/crude sense of humor but I just couldn't stand to read about people (no matter who they are, it just happened to be about DnP) that I really genuinely like. (I just want to add another thing: let's not forget Dan's maybe-hinting at YT conventions not meeting their potential in their current forms. That production company does online content stuff as well as live performance stuff... and Dan kept saying conventions should be more like festivals with performances dun dun dunnn. On a bit of a tangent but relevant because we've just had the TomSka video - a couple of weeks ago Dan said in his live show that he was jealous of Tom having a close team who were able to help him with producing his videos. D&P must have the financial means to employ people to help them but they clearly can't be keen on the idea as I'm sure they would have done so already. I'm guessing it's because a) they value their privacy too much to let someone into their inner circle, and b) they prefer having total control over the production of their videos. Interested in other thoughts.

finally watched the gaming video -- i liked it and it had some good moments. to me it felt a bit off because they rushed a bit through the dialogue, sometimes not even finishing reading before clicking for the next bit. i think if it'd been 10 minutes longer without actually more gameplay but simply them taking a bit more time for the dialogue, i'd enjoyed it more, since i liked the voices they did.

One of my favorite videos ever is "Rejects", and TomSka is the only YouTuber I follow besides Deppy. So I was looking forward to the new sketch very much. It's no "Rejects", but I thought it was pretty funny. The awful pickup lines and even the groping incident seem pretty clearly framed as "things not to do", so I didn't find them offensive. Nor the dick jokes. It all was very much TomSka-brand humor. It does seem as though the skit suffered from too many rewrites (for a spon that didn't go through?), but it was still enjoyable.

My favorite bit, which I don't think has been mentioned here, was Dan's (pen-)ultimate line, an imitation of TomSka's "oh dat's vewwy nice" (lefthanded and all). Probably that's something that resonates way more for TomSka fans than Deppy fans.

On Dan's acting: I think he's a perfectly fine actor. It's interesting to me that acting is one of the things that it's easy for fans to criticize Dan for, in a seemingly offhand, "of course he's not very good" way. People point mostly to TATINOF for this--are there other instances of Dan being a "bad" actor that come to mind? I've only seen the TATINOF movie: he was certainly over the top in an often cringe way--but maybe that's what he meant to be? I see TATINOF as cringe and ott in its entirety: they said it marked the end of an era, and I think we can all agree that the new era is indeed different. So the over-the-topness of Dan's acting was all part of the punctuation that this stuff is really done: we're going to emphasize it now and never mention it again.

I think TABINOF and DAPGO are also cringe and ott (though I my daughter owns both of them), but I don't see them dismissed in the same way (that is, as being "bad"; certainly they've been criticized for other things), and Phil is as responsible for the as Dan is.

Anyway, I guess my inner Dangirl (and former high school theatre person) gets ruffled when I see people harsh on Dan's acting.

On Phil acting: I really don't think acting is his thing. I don't want to see more of his acting. This made me think about what "acting" is. Someone here linked some of Phil's old Pabloislove videos (old-time Phil is the only one who gets my Philgirl going ) and they're brilliant, but I wouldn't call them acting. Phil was performing, obviously, and pretending to be someone different from him, but I don't think that is acting per se. Acting is taking on a role with some sort of repeatability, either because there is a script (that can be done multiple times, by different people) and/or a well-defined role that can be played over and over and could even be taken on by somebody else. I wouldn't want to see Phil take on a complex part that TomSka wrote for a skit--I just don't think that suits his creativity. Whereas that sort of thing seems to work for Dan, and I think that's why Tom likes working with him.

What if decide to do their own version? UK fans haven't had the chance to properly see/meet them since TATINOF in Autumn 2015 so I wouldn't be at all surprised if some sort of live event is in the works.

On a bit of a tangent but relevant because we've just had the TomSka video - a couple of weeks ago Dan said in his live show that he was jealous of Tom having a close team who were able to help him with producing his videos. D&P must have the financial means to employ people to help them but they clearly can't be keen on the idea as I'm sure they would have done so already. I'm guessing it's because a) they value their privacy too much to let someone into their inner circle, and b) they prefer having total control over the production of their videos. Interested in other thoughts.

I think they very well may be exploring these alternative ways to engage with their fans, but I don't think that's what is physically preventing them from committing to things like SITC and the food thing in Japan. Like an announcement could be coming, but not the convention itself. Mind you what is actually keeping them busy and what Dan may tell us about in August could be two entirely different things.

I enjoyed the gaming video, I thought it was cute. I might have been watching them a bit more than the game. Phil looked lovely and sort of delicate? (his hands and face) I also found the keeping "our house plants" alive thing curious. Like yeah, it's a running joke that Phil couldn't keep his alive, but then Dan was taking care of the succulents well and helping water the others. Some of the blinds they seem to keep open, but others closed (filming areas). It was the fact that the plant was in her bedroom with open curtains and that Dan had mentioned not having houseplants in his bedroom because he doesn't open the blinds in his ls that raised my interest. Other stand out moments for me was the Sherlock and John moment and just both of them being so excited for the wardrobe.

The other things they were in yesterday were so so. It sounds like the Anti Dark thing is fan service and that's cool, just not as interesting for those of us not in their fandom (not complaining). First contact was mildly amusing, but yeah.
