I'm going to wash my own hands after this video.
Will probably never be over the BONCAS and the beauty of Phil Lester.

Thank you Phil! I really liked the video. It wasn't the best, but there is a reason why unpacking stuff is so popular on youtube. It was very entertaining to watch, even though the last box grossed me out even more than it grossed Phil out. I would never put any of that stuff on my bed! unless i never sleep in it.

While I was highly disturbed by the fact the last box was sticky and stuff, the video made me laugh a lot. But if I were Phil, I'd wash my hands in extremely hot water after that. Like the hottest I could get it without accidentally burning myself. And 998274, I too wouldn't put that stuff on my bed ether, unless I knew for a fact that I ether don't use it or will be washing them asap after filming.

Oh it's like a Phil video had a baby with a Safiya Nygaard video.. but it oddly works? As unimaginative as the concept was, I liked the video.

That last box tho

that video showed me an r rated movie ad and I was shocked. It was just fandango so I guess maybe it slipped by, but I'm surprised he has his filters set to allow that sort of thing. guess the adpocolypse is hitting hard enough that he upped the type of ad's that are allowed?

Hmm, it looks like the lighting Phil used isn't as harsh as before or that he got a new lens. He looks less like a vampire than usually.

Interesting, I've never heard of eBay mystery boxes before! Kinda cute that someone put a book in there (we all gotta read more again). Not the biggest rewatch value but still a solid video!

Video was nice I love how he said he wouldn't be spending $100 per box like Buzzfeed did bc he "had a budget", as if he couldn't afford to do that. We all know you're loaded, Philly

I go away for four days and theres 17 pages for me to read why did I choose to be social?
so glad I missed the mental health/queerbaiting discussion also glad I didnt watch Phil's last live show, I HATE him mentioning his eyes, its like one of the few things I need a trigger warning for so i'm glad I got chance to screen that out
NEW PHIL VIDEO.... I liked it, though I almost wish he and Dan had done it together

a few things
- interesting seeing that his eBay suggestions included thriller DVDs...
- he said something like 'it was decent not amazing' can the next thread name please be ADecentPhil?
- I wish he'd bought the £1 million box...
- he was trying to save money? Dan didn't want to talk about August until October? They're moving, fight me.
- alsooooo we got a brief new shot of Phil's room and that room is tiny af

Ten mins and one second exactly, well done Phil. Unfortunately I always skip the Chick-fil-A ads, sorry. An amusing video, erm thanks for going through that for us. I'm a bit disturbed by this phenomenon. I'd say it's a fun way to get rid of your random stuff, but when you factor in shipping, nope. Donating it is.

I side eyed him a bit for being weirded out by the nappies box. Of course they were clean. I'm guessing all the sticky residue was from the candles, but for goodness sake don't hold that level so close to you face and keep the stuff off your... sigh. (Well he does have two sets of that bedding right?) He just had to make the giant decorative tassel sexual. I truly hope he went and washed his hands before his ls, not just used the hand sanitizer.

Erm I screencapped the camera light view at 7:13 but I'm too lazy to relearn how to post it here. I think it just shows a white wardrobe with silver trim on the left, an unassembled shelf propped against it, perhaps one of his framed YouTube subscriber plaques on the wall and a big piece of cardboard. Very boring. I'm just curious where all the warm wood we saw in his sleepless night video (when he was showing his pjs) is. Still haven't quite worked out the four walls. Not that I should care.

Good to know he's the type of guy to call a person back if he says he will. ;)

I wasn’t sure what to think about Phil’s newest vid at first since I wasn't aware this was even a thing, but I loved it.
The whole thing and his commentary just had me .

The concept was pretty basic but as usual with Phil, his commentary and way of reacting made it very enjoyable. I'm not sure I would sit through 10 minutes of anyone else unpacking random boxes. For some reason, I especially enjoyed his end speech, like from 9:20 to 9:40, before he went very AmazingPhil, I don't know why but that bit was so soft and funny to me, the way he stuttered saying 'this is the end of the video' Witnessing Phil being Phil just always calms me and makes me really happy lol

Phil looked so nice today! He has some splinges and his hair seemed a tad more ruffled than usual, and I loved the coordination of his black-and-red t-shirt with his black hair and slightly reddish roots
Ahh, the quality content we all deserve tbh. And Dan continues to brand himself as Phil trash #1.

Did they get a second/new light? Or does that type of light just have different attachments- I know the light I've seen of theirs before has the big hood around it and this one just looks like it has silver flaps. Please note, I know nothing about lighting.

I've noticed that too, he doesn't blend into the walls anymore.

I don't know how he makes stupid videos interesting to watch but it was funny, except the ending triggered the germophobe in me.

I think (and this is from my limited experience with studio lights which is Media A-Level and one year of BA Broadcast Journalism) they're different, because soft boxes are the lights with the hood around it.

Well, that handsanitizer comment from his ls should've been enough warning for this.

I have diagnosed OCD/germophobia, and this was just. Wow. I'm incredibly grossed out. (No I can't handle much, I know.) I agree with Dan, just watching this makes me want to wash my hands. Ugh. And the way he dropped everything on his bed and his floor? Please, Phil, I hope you've cleaned everything really well after this.

I was able to watch the whole thing, but this one goes straight into the cringe/gross category for me. Why would anyone do this to themselves. Though I'm surprised there wasn't anything actually sexual or super disgusting in there, well done humanity for that, I guess. And a book too! I'm a big fan of books, so I really appreciate that gesture. Though I'd sanitize the whole thing before reading it.

I'd never even heard of this concept before, but at least now I know I'm not watching anything like this ever again. until my curiosity gets the better of me again

I really enjoyed this video, even if it all got a bit gross at the end. My favourite bit was that Phil was using a pair of left handed scissors to try to open up the last (sticky) package. I was going to include a screenshot but I have no idea how to do that. I don't know why, but I find it cute that he just grabbed Dan's scissors for this :D

citizen_erased I find it ironic that you're currently a "crusty sponge".

idkwhattowrite Aww. Good eye! I recently watched an early YouNow where Dan received his first pair of left handed scissors in a fan mail package. He seemed genuinely delighted. (How did his parents never buy him a pair?! Or why did he never buy them himself?) Then in a ls not long after that (I forget if it was Dan of Phil reporting) Phil had been using the left handed scissors to randomly cut up things. Those two.

I noticed that in Phil's most recent ls that he didn't say what gaming videos would be out next, only that they had filmed the second Dream Daddy. I know it would probably be smart to release them close together to keep the interest going, but I want some golf damnit. (Actually I think we're going to do some twilight mini golfing tomorrow evening. A park near us was just updated with black lighting and colorful L.E.D.S.) It also has a bit of a candy theme, but not nearly as offensive as Candyland. It is owned by a candy company. :D

yeah, if you notice my username around a LOT at the moment, it's partially because I'm just bored and partially because I'm trying to get rid of the crusty sponge thing as quickly as possible

edit: I'm a senpai now, I don't know if I think that's better or worse

[offtopic]whats the difference between left handed and right handed scissors?

Also the more I think about his parents never buying him any the weirder it is - my ex was a leftie and when she went to uni ALL of her stuff was left handed, I was impressed by how much stuff she actually found.

Also, while i'm thinking about this, can someone please send them a new tin opener? If they have the same one they had in the Monster Pops video you need a Masters in Engineering to use it. (we have the same one and it took me a month to work out how to use it and I keep getting blood blisters from catching my skin because you have to use it backwards to make it work )[/offtopic]
