Tbh I feel like that a lot of the time. I usually put it down to a ten-year age gap and unsatisfied maternal and domme tendencies, but he's also just cute as hell and I prefer the softness to macho muscles. I guess it feels weird cos he's not small or a child, and they both get infantilised at times I don't meant to emasculate them, it's just that they're kinda soft and cute.

I also prefer softness to machoness! And I don't necessarily think I feel uncomfortable because of the emasculation aspect but rather what you said about not being small or a child. Also, I'm 22 and I often picture them as my age or younger, which they aren't, obviously. When I think like that, I try to rework my thinking to them as the same age as my friends who ARE their age. Which makes the maternal instinct thing feel really weird.

People definitely lost their shit over the Niagra Falls pic from last year - Dan posting the picture itself, the caption + emojis combo he used, and then Phil posting another picture of the same thing (which is something they don't do too often. You can tell they're both really enjoying something we we get double POVs of the same thing).

Good point, autumnhearth, I'd forgotten those pictures a bit, but some really do get everyone stirred up. Phil's ladybug jumper selfie did too, mere days after his bobble-hat one, but a lot of the Dan ones are particularly soft. The Wimbledon selfie isn't the softest ever, but the outfit, pose and the expression on his face are still all quite pretty. It's not just softness, anything particularly pretty, cute, hot or suggestive. I feel like this is too many enthusiastic adjectives, but I don't see a *fans self* emoji

Interesting thing about thinking of them as younger, obscureDnPreference. I guess when we feel that way despite their age is our feelings, maternal or whatever you want to call it, just because we like them a lot. There's lots to like :bigthumbsup:

Re: Dream Daddy: I thought the first 2 videos were okay, but I really liked this one! i don't know if are just more comfortable with the story, or the story itself seemed to flow better.

Someone (or maybe a couple of people) said they thought Dan and Phil should switch their speaking roles, and after watching this one, I agree. I think Dan as Dilddy and Phil doing the date voices would be great! Definitely my favorite DD so far. I love Victorian-era aesthetic and clothing and liked Damien way more than I expected to. I hope they are starting to realize that the more open they are, the more positive attitude people have to their videos.

Re: Dan's picture: Everyone has pretty much said everything there is to say: he just looks so sweet and innocent. I can't tell you how many pictures I have of my daughter sleeping as a baby and young child. There's just something heart-warming and soul-stirring about it.

The old Formspring tweets have gotten me all nostalgic and I remain firmly on the phan-wagon. Not in the "shippy, omg their so cute" way, but in the real, honest-to-god "these 2 are committed to each other on a soul level" way. To me, that's much stronger than the average marriage. I'm so glad they found each other, and I will continue to live vicariously through them
