I entertained the idea for one second because I mean, it's funny! But nah it isn't, so many inconsistencies with what they're saying and I really doubt Dan would spill about his relationship with Phil, saying they broke up and are now talking about getting back together and then say Phil knows about it and is not happy I'd be very wtf

That said, Twitter is, all over it and it's impossible to ignore it so I'm enjoying the drama so far. At least it's nothing illegal like the one that pretended it was Dan to engage with minors

Screenshots can be faked so easily. I mean, really?

Young twitter stans are so fascinating. A little off topic, but yesterday I posted a tweet (from my personal account with hardly any followers) about disliking "21 pilots" and got like ten randos replying to me correcting my spelling and defending their idols. All of them from people half my age. Which just furthers my belief that these tea-spilling "anon Dans" are bored, attention seeking preteens, lol.

I just looked through the tweets from that person pretending to be Dan, I really cannot believe anyone would think it was him. It’s no doubt the same person/people who make up fake accounts or claim to have hacked Dan because they have nothing better to do. So boring to keep seeing the same style over and over, we need more trolls like kiro56, that account was so funny!

TBH I don't see why Marianne would even care at all about that account, it's so obviously fake I don't see why it would even blip on her radar? Or Dan and Phil's - these sorts of accounts have popped up so many times over the past 5+ years I'm sure they're all basically immune to them. I mean I could be wrong, but I feel like it's more likely the person running it just wants a dramatic excuse to stop posting. I just find it so wild that anyone could ever think that 26-year-old Dan is the sort of person who would even want to post those sort of things anyway. Incredible.

Yeah, that happens every time people retweet old tweets of Dan and Phil - they get notified and delete them. Especially when it's so many tweets all in one go. It's why people should screenshot them rather than retweet, I really don't know what the person running the account expected.

I watched it with a glass of wine thanks to seeing this (hopping Friday night, right?). I have no interest in the topic but it interesting. Dan did well. I enjoyed his excitement. The topic was informative and took me into a world I knew literally nothing about!
