I would subscribe and hit that bell, @@whelpkeeper. Don't tell me you're Mary Berry dwelling secretly among us?

And I'm in the same boat @liola, my college finals didn't wrap up until the 20th of this month, by which point Gamgingmas was almost over. I didn't have the chance to watch much until the semester was done, so I ended up cramming all the previous Gamingmas videos into those fours days alongside the new releases. It made the entire thing seem so short!

Top of the page question if you're bored waiting for the next video: what will be a must-have item or amenity in D&P's forever-mansion? Money, physics, and the laws of time and space are of no consequence here.

Hey I dunno about you but the combo of coconut, raspberry and praline (i had to look that last one up) sounds fucking delicious, are you mad?? not sure i'd call it a cake but it definitely ticks my box for "dessert". also, whoever was saying that whole fruits don't belong with a cake-style dessert needs to try pavlova asap and then get back to me.

...yeah it's the holidays and i'm bored and kinda (definitely not really) picking a silly fight. (don't) sue me

Why do people keep saying that it's cornflakes? That's almond slices! Almond slices can be found in some cereal/granola, but it's definitely a decently fancy baking ingredient. Give them a point for that :D

Well they'll obviously need a food replicator thing from Star Trek in their kitchen:

If they're going to be paying for a house, they'll need to cut down on the takeaway because it seems like they spend a lot on it. Now they can just replicate all that food for free and actually afford their mortgage! The rest of us are choosing avocado toast over home ownership, but Phil could finally have his (avocado?) waffles and eat them too. <3

I'm pretty sure Deppy have to be reunited by tomorrow, if they aren't already, because the new season of Black Mirror comes out and they both discussed how excited they are. And I'm with the rest of you guys-this drought is killing me slowly.

I mean even Colin betrayed him, how could he face the shame after that? A dogless flat might have been the best option after that!

One thing I realized is that we were deprived my whiny i-miss-phil tweets this time. On one hand good on Dan on the other this trashcan is sad

Aww that little “bye” at the end. And is that his expensive coat without the capelet? Me thinks so.

I think the cake looked fine, not amazing, but fine of a family effort. It reminded me a bit of a Yule Log.

Bloopers were great, but I hate Dan for getting that ridiculous ditty stuck in my head. Looking forward to this new era of the Sims.

I’ve decided to pass the drought by watching Manon Lestie’s monthly highlights from this year. But only one or two a day. Going to watch March now, which I’m curious about. Link to playlist:

Little rant over here you can skip it:

It just blows my mind that people can just run into Dan and/or Phil in the streets of London. Like, they will always be guys on a screen for me (my country isn't even listed in the II tour and there's no way they're coming) and like, at the start of the year I was just there, on my vacation, in the very streets those girls met him and it just... blows my mind? Like that could have been me? How do Londoners do it? How can you live close to so many celebrities (and youtubers) and be like cool? This sounds so creepy I know I just can't relate because my country is so small, I'm only used to see these people on a stage or a screen. I know they're real people, imperfect, and not made of gold, but yeah. I don't know this made no sense.

Anyway yay he's back! Don't know about Phil but he wants to extend the holidays and so do I!

This is seriously off topic but I always felt that the uglier the cake looked, the nicer it probably tastes. Like, if a cake looks really pretty it's probably put together with really cheap, sugary disgusting icing. But when a cake is simple and everything is just piled on, it's like it was made to be eaten, and not to be posted on Instagram. Sorry for the cake discourse. Though Dan still deserves to be dragged, who tf leaves food out in front of animals? I doubt this had been Colin's first time doing this, this is probably just his first time getting caught. There's probably been plenty of times they've eaten/put away food that the little thing nibbled on, and they never realized.

Dang, you're right- they get a +1 in decor, but I still stand by most of what I said. I mean raspberries? Not even sliced or puréed? though to be fair I'm allergic to coconut (and I found out the hard way lol, had a bad reaction) so maybe I'm just scarred and being unfair. This was a nice family effort and I respect it, so I think it's time to end the discourse over this confectionary-course!

Preach, the biggest celebrity I've ever run into was the local meteorologist (better believe I got a selfie though, the man is never wrong ) I think it's nice that there's not a constant barrage of fan selfies on the streets with deppy tho- not that it's bad to get a pic with them, but I think it means for the most part they can go about their lives and not get recognized or bothered too much. I'm kinda a private person so even if I loved my fans I'd get a little weary of taking pics and stuff every time I went out- I'm glad the boys still have some anonymity left, the many retweets where people don't even know who Dan is also proves that they have an active fan base and not be noticed as "celebrity" all the time.

For most mainstream, Hollywood-esque celebrities, even if you're not a fan you can still recognize them because of they appear in commercials, movies, posters, talk shows, etc. It's interesting how that doesn't really apply to internet stars yet, and I'm curious to see if as the internet grows more mainstream deppy will get recognized more and more- so I'm just kinda passively noting selfies with DnP to see if they get more frequent as time progresses, or if they get mentioned/recognized more by people who aren't fans. I was reading Reddit the other day and they were mentioned in a completely unrelated subreddit and post in passing by someone who said they weren't a fan. I've seen references to the phandom (which are never glowing but whatever) on Reddit before but they're rare and usually by people who are currently in it or used to be in it. take that as you will

I mean, I knew those were almonds but I'm standing by the fact that they look like cornflakes. There are much better ways to arrange almond slices.

When I lived in England (Bath specifically) I once ran into Maisie Williams at the hospital and it was bizarre. Whenever I went into London I prayed I wouldn't see d&p, only to find out once they moved, that I stayed at a friends house down the road from their old apartment. I much prefer keeping 'celebrities' at arms length.

i'm at work trying not to cackle reading that thread but man, i'm glad that tweet went viral because i'm having such a good time reading people's reactions. i also find it interesting when a huge portion of people outside of the phandom, or even outside of a casual viewer, interact with deppy related stuff, as they're obviously viewed with a different lens than how we would normally see them, because having that "outside" perspective is fascinating to take into account and compare with how fans react.

also i have no idea how people are saying it looks good. like??? i mean, the idea of the cake sounds good to me, but the presentation was just shit, and i feel like there's no way around that lol

At the end of the day, I don't care what anyone names their pet, but imho common human names are top on the list of Names to Avoid, with cliches like "Snowball" and "Spot" coming in close second. Unless it's done ~ironically~ (I know a family who named their mutt Dave and, like, that's just funny). Like, imagine meeting a cat and his name was just... Matthew... or Connor... You can name your pet anything, because she's an animal and doesn't care, and you chose Ellen...

Coming out of lurking to say I could've sworn I heard Dan say they adopted him and his name was already Colin, but I can't find a video of that anywhere.

In my country, it's quite common to name dogs and cats with human names. I've had two dogs with names like that (adopted, so they already had names when I got them). I admit it's a little weird, but it's so funny too, hearing a human name being frantically called out on the street, only to find out they're yelling at their dog.

I guess Colin isn't a very common name for a dog, I've never seen one called that, but there are a lot of dogs named Chloe or Bella or whatever, which are common human names.

To not make this totally off topic, I guess Dan played no part in naming Colin? How old is Colin now?

In my opinion, about 95% of the time when people "bump" into the boys, it's on purpose and they know the boys are likely to be there. I don't believe in those sort of coincidences hahaha, me thinks peeps tell a few porkies to sound "cooler" or less stalkery.
