Projecting massively here as someone who's from a family of talkers, who have no problem ~taking their place~ in conversations with friends in much the same way Dan does (talking loudly, interrupting each other back and forth, oops rude if it's with the wrong people). I sometimes run into people who work the exact other way around, only talking when they're properly ~invited~ and basically led by the hand into a conversation (everyone has to stop talking, look at them, wait for them, stay quiet while they talk or they'll lose momentum...) Phil sometimes reminds me of someone who's closer to that end of the scale. Sometimes. Like in this collab or that "Can Phil express an opinion" panel, or just generally when he's sitting around mouth half-open waiting around for an opening instead of just creating one. I'm not saying that's a negative thing in any way mind you, I think it's just a different way of communicating, with just as many potential pros and cons as being a loudmouth, haha. This paragraph has no point, I'll just end it here.
More importantly: Come on guys. Dan's already confirmed he's a furry, he's out!

Yes yes yes to everything you said. I agree.

Also: is it just me or does Dan sound like he's saying "fairy" instead of "furry?" I would rather see a fairy Dan tbh excuse my american-ness I'll just leave
Excuse his southern-ness! ;) TBH there's not much difference between "furry" "ferry" and "fairy" with some British accents. Phil, in full Lancs-mode, on the other hand, would be very different, what with all the exaggerated vowel sounds.

When was this filmed? January? Early Feb? Maybe there was some "discussions" in the Howell/Lester household about all these hints being dropped. Whaddya reckon? Esecially given Phil's (over)reaction seriously, RIP Phil's polker face. Obviously dead and buried during the filming for this!! to Dan's "I've been trying to tell the internet..." comment?

During the mating conversation, what's Dan saying here?
He'll perform the what?

That was a great way of explaining it. I guess sometime I wish Phil wasn't so dang polite. I want him to have the confidence to interrupt atleast his close friends. I feel like he waits so long that he forgets the comment he was going to interject so he compensates by saying something weird. I think I went all protection squad, after second watch Louise seemed lovely its's just that Phil didn't fit with the scheme of the video well. If you think about it Phil never had a video where he goes all out and says what he pleases, it's always been a structured version of himself. Even vlogs are heavily edited making me wonder how he really is. Also felucca your jamaica video was brilliant- (One weird thing i noticed was Phil claiming his camera was black life his soul, um I think thats your boyfriend Phil. It gave me more introspection on AP and how maybe IRL he is more DINOF)

cora808 thanks for clarifying! I thought he meant that gentlemen should do that to his body that's why Louis looked so shocked.

Also our favorite ship danphil333 and jaej I agree with your comments that they didn't seem as close to her. Dan did seem to overcompensate and Phil undercompensate to make. They don't seem too close to anyone when its a three way. That really gives away the fact that some friends are closer to one than the other but they all hang out. For Phil he has Peej for Dan its Louise.

I noticed Phil seeming a little awkward, more towards the end, and I don't often notice these things that everyone sees. The way he said "Thanks" at the end was so offhand, I've heard him say it like that once or twice before. Like "we're done now, bye", but if he was feeling out of place that might explain something coming out wrong.

I loved when she got her hands into their hair. Dan especially just looks so good with his hair up. Loved him leaving it sticking up for a moment before sorting it out (I love watching him fix it too) and Phil being so into the massage. Aww. I was surprised Dan actually told us about an ass-massage, but gotta defend them. Having had lower back problems for years, those other muscles do a lot of extra work and need the help. The pain is real.

I missed the furry confession somewhat, but it's cute. I've always found jokes about furries pointless, my introduction to them was through general cute anthropomorphic fanart of people's characters, nothing sexual at all so I don't see the connotation.

Can just imagine Louise going all mummy on Troye to actually suck his finger. Loved her telling us the boys had delved into the bin for the cookies and hearing about the argument. Of all the things they'd have an argument about, of course food.

Somehow I missed the whole Let It Go part on first watch as if the video skipped, I don't know how

Really want Dan to stop apologising for himself after things. Undermines his whole presence in the thing.

I have no doubt that this is 99% of the problem (IDK if I should really call it a "problem," but IDK how else to refer to it as.)
Also, not to rehash the Chris K Q&A answer again, but it would totally make sense as to why "he'll be quiet for a while and then say the best thing" (or whatever.) Probably because he's been waiting for 5 minutes for a moment of silence to speak. Which is perfectly okay, but also kind of sad in a way.
(Sad because I'm the exact same way as Phil, which makes it tough around my boisterous group of friends and family who have no issue standing their ground in conversations, meanwhile I'm on the sidelines waiting for the right moment of silence to seize as my own so that I don't feel bad speaking up about something, LOL. But honestly it's no one's fault but my own.)

My family is kind of the same, you either talk loud and trough each other or wait until the pigs fly to have a chance to speak .

Love the video.
Yes, this. felucca put it very nicely here. (sorry i am going to do some projecting) I am Phil among my friends but I don't really feel excluded, it's more of being polite, don't want to ruin the moment and wait for my turn kind of thing(?)

But with my family, I am definitely Dan, especially during heated debates about anything and everything under the sun.

Tldr, my opinion, they are genuine friends, Phil is awkward but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to be there. I love less controlled Phil. More please.
Love is forever

hate to make my first post here negative but wow that was not at all worth the wait. none of them were on particularly good form humour-wise (a lot of the same old 'ooh that sounded wrong' jokes) and phil looked pretty uncomfortable, even more so when he kept bringing out props (dog, cactus) for something to do. i'm really surprised people seemed to like it so much because it seemed quite awkward and stilted to me.

phil's my fave but i wish he'd relax and drop the amazingphil act for more relaxed videos like this, it just doesn't work.

(anyway hi i was -whatamidoing on gg but i think i posted like once a month maybe. hopefully i'll do a little better on here )

I didn't think it was cringey at all, I thought it was funny and cute, even though some people on here will disagree. I didn't see what was so unnatural about it? All three of them just have a rather awkward brand of humor, this is literally a conversation I could have had with my friends.
Also, unpopular opinion time, but I'm going to have to agree with what cora808 has said before that I've been getting vibes from Dan lately that he's maybe not actually bisexual, but gay, or bisexual but leaning more towards men. Just speculation though.

Lol I wonder why Dan never told us about that butt massage story before. It seems like something he'd mention during a liveshow. I don't think the story is too saucy?

felucca put it best, but i agree that it was just Phil being himself when there's no format/script. He's just awkward. The three of them are all awkward people, tbh. But he's just a different type than Louise and Dan? If that makes sense. That doesn't mean they're not genuine friends with Louise.

Wow, I guess he did always already have such a big forehead. I had never really noticed before. Seems like his hairline isn’t really regressing after all.

I really enjoyed every second of this video. (I lied, I didn't enjoy the screaming but that's my fault 'cause I didn't lower the volume on time.) I don't even mind the amount of slightly inappropriate jokes. Though I literally spat on myself because of one innuendo.
I don't expect D&P to get along with other people just as great as with each other but I thought the chemistry was good, I didn't feel much awkwardness. Also Louise herself is very charming.
Overall that's the kind of collab I wanted to see, I'm not disappointed.

i would say dan and louise are loud!awkward and phil isn't, that's probably the difference

i loved the video, but i think it could have been funnier with better editing, found it a bit cringe and awks at moments, but i think that's just them, it was cute cringe and awks not i-had-to-pause-the-video cringe, i hope you know what i mean

I noticed phil's third wheeling more during the second watch, but it wasn't that bad imo, he's just not as loud as dan and louise

im the self-proclaimed number one bi!dan stan but i also interpreted the 'gentlemen' part as someone else talking to them and not as dan saying it

i can't wait for the other videos they filmed

well maybe I am furry-erasing, so to all the furries out there soz, but I still don't believe Dan is one. However I think he is a massive TROLL. Nearly as massive as his forehead It made me laugh that Louise didn't know if he was trolling or not and turned to Phil who was just playing with the dog and staring at the camera like 99% of the fucking time.

overall GREAT video . I need time to process my thoughts. AmazingPhil is tiring tho. Man leave the #random props out, relax and interact with your friends. We know very well you're dirty.

Also is putting half your hand in your mouth really that impressive? I think everyone can do that no? and agreed on the gentlemen. He was talking as the masseuse talking to them, not as himself massaging random blokes

Yeah - the noteworthy part to me was that Dan mentally jumped to a scenario where someone is telling himself and Phil (but not louise) to get naked for the shiba rubs.

these NWW/tipsy talk kind of formats suit them so much, i love it. honestly all i want from them is casual bantz, bc they’re great at it. usually i can’t stand watching these kind of things esp with tipsy talk, bc it’s literally just high pitched giggling over painfully inane topics and and indecipherable jokes for like 20 mins straight, making me want to claw my eyes out every time i try to watch one. but d&p are great conversationalists and effortlessly funny, so it’s really nice to take the pressure off and see them let loose a bit. esp with louise bc she’s lovely and hilarious <:

btw the point of these videos is that they aren’t structured and conversation is allowed to flow naturally, talking over each other included. i think this can make for some hilariously candid moments and we definitely got a lot of those, so no complaints there

tbh kind of wish they did separate NWW's, bc dan and louise are just hilarious tgt and have such comfortable chemistry. I really wanted to see dan let loose and have some real (semi)unfiltered talk, which he seemed open to doing. but phil was an impenetrable wall and his rigid awkwardness reminiscent of tipsy talk seeped its way into this collab, unfortunately. i have no doubt that this would have been tipsy talk 2.0 had it been just louise and phil, bc he was acting in the exact same kind of way that made tipsy talk so uncomfortable to watch. kind of annoyed by him avoiding mature topics and awkwardly interjecting with the damn houseplants and other #randum props (phil pls stop using the cactus as comic relief that joke stopped being funny a long time ago). but that’s just me, bc i tend to find his brand of weirdness strange and cringeworthy instead of endearing.

that self deprecating bit at the end tho, i feel like is genuine. super awks and louise seemed genuinely concerned, oh dan :/ also i think he just has a combination of a large forehead and one of those unfortunate triangular hairlines?? it’s a lot more obvious when it starts receding bc it’s already so far back at the corners.

EDIT: FCUK ME A 30MIN DAN LOUISE COLLAB YASSSSS

that video also reminded me of something else i see a lot with dan and phil
phil feeds from and works around the person next to him. He really listens to them... He is trying to make everyone feel comfortable and gives them his whole attention (even if he is staring at the camera and not them). He has his one-liners and when he is put on the spot he can cope with it. With phil you have a "back and forth" interaction. When the person next to him cooperates even a little bit we have sth good and enjoyable. Although some people dont "get" him when he is too "weird" and that can be really uncomfortable to watch when it happens

dan on the other hand pays attention to noone but himself. i dont think he even listens to the other person. When he has sth planned on his mind or has sth to say he has to find a way to just say it(even when the topic has ended a long ago). He starts interrupting people and being rude. Everything is a script for him and whenever you take that script away from him he panics and ruins it.

Even though phil is supposed to be the weird one that people dont "get" , dan is actually even worse when it comes to interactions with others
I dont think the problem with this video was phils or dans "persona". We blame so many things on their personas(esp phil) and many times i dont understand why. Dan's persona is as present in the videos as phils and maybe more. Dan hides behind dinof 24/7. Whenever there is sth we dont like we go..PERSONAAAA.

I think louise's dww concept doesnt work in general especially with people that dont know each other that well. What i got from the video is that hanging out twice a year, laugh with each other and share some awkward moments with a person doesnt make you good friends. And from what i understand not even louise and dan are that good friends (they/and the phandom make it look like they are besties).

Ohhhh dans video. I am sure that if there is even a little bit of a concept and preparation it will be better. It will not make them bffs or make the dinof persona disappear.

Ok so I've just started watching Dan's video and there's a speck of dust on the lens which comes out as a GIANT CLEAR CIRCLE and it's driving me crazy.

Also this video seems slightly slowed down and/or their voices sound kind of lower and it's weird
