on the plus side, i've only seen a grand total of 4 but I am prepared to exile myself until the 15th. I want as much to be a surprise as humanly possible; I've seen what I wanted to see, which was literally the M&G stuff, and now I'm going into full lockdown mode.

oh SAME GIRL like i have to wait almost four more months for my show and i'm even scrolling past the stuff that's asking for transcriptions or whatever because i don't want to know anything about the show before i watch it. i remember for tatinof i got spoiled that dil would be the key to the story and although it didn't ruin the show i would have preferred to go in completely blind.

on the plus side i am really loving the instagram stories and desperately hope that deppy actually keep up this level of interaction throughout the entire tour. my level of investment in deppy at this stage is starting to worry me in that i've never been so into real people who don't know me before

I would say the soulmate bit wasn't really a spoiler, it was just something dan said so someone was providing context. As for the diss track, I wouldn't call it a spoiler because dan said it in the "giving the people what they want" video that phil would in fact have one. But I'm sure going forward we will definitely try to keep everything under the spoiler function.

I want to preface this by saying I didn't hate previous/persona-heavy Phil and I never questioned the fact that he was great. (I mean, I recognize I'm a shameless Dan-girl, but it doesn't negate years of loving Phil and the warmth and ease he brings to our cold, cold world.)

But, 2018!Phil is mind-blowing??? The quiff, the normal facial expressions in photos (RIP butthole face, you won't be missed), and in particular, the IG story humor. It's like we're finally getting to the core of who Phil really is and what draws Dan to him.

I mean we all knew that underneath the whole constantly-shocked-with-a-fringe image, he had this going for him, but it's so apparent now and it's creating this brand new perception of him. He's so handsome and genuinely hilarious and like I really understand how lucky Dan and everyone Phil surrounds himself are. He's a total catch.

I only wish we had gotten IG stories earlier (and maybe also the quiff, but I'lll forgive him), because that shit is his forté. I can't quite put my finger on what it is in this content that makes him so great, but I hope it translates to AP soon.

ALL OF THIS. as someone who is similar to Dan In many ways I completely understand what draws me/him and so many to Phil because there's something just overall catchy about him? I loved Phil very early on for his delightfully weird personality but I lost him along the way for a few years during his robotic phase. But man has it been so great seeing him come back to himself.
